First time grower and things have been going well until today.

I'm growing in Fax Farms Ocean soil 2 Barneys Farm Peyote Critical and 2 Lemon Drizzle.

I have been watering with plain tap water up until yesterday.

Yesterday I mix 4 gallons of tap water with 24 tsp of Big Bloom and 8 tsp of Grow Big.

I also topped the 2 Peyote Crits and pulled them over with pip cleaners for LST.

Today, my plants have yellow spots on one plant and yellowing leaves on another. (pics below)

Did I do something wrong?

First time grow yellow spots 4

First time grow yellow spots
First time grow yellow spots 2
First time grow yellow spots 3

This looks like two separate issues... the yellowing on one plant and the spots on the other.

The yellowing of the leaves looks like something with watering/nutrients. Maybe ph.

The specks looks like it could be some type of fungus.

How far is light above plant and what kind?

Thank you guys for all the tips. I thought it might be the light, (AC Infinity IONBOARD S33) I had to pull it all the way to the top to get at the plants and may have moved it too low (about 9 inches above the plants). I just logged into the controller and turned it down to 80% until I can get home at night to raise it up a bit.

I have been only watering about every three days and next time I'll cut back on the nutes to see if that make a difference. I need to get a meter to test the ppm of the runoff. I don't have to water as much because I have the fabric post sitting on the AC Infinity self watering fabric pot bases (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0B1SL84RG/).

I'll also check with my scope if there are any funky things on the leaves (pests, fungus, etc.).

My light was too low by about 4 inches so that might have had something to do with it. The yellowing spots and tips appeared the morning after the feeding, and the one thing I noticed was that the leaves that have the yellowing seem to be the ones that I might have poured the water/nute mixture on and didn't rinse off. Could that cause this? I don't see any pests or fungus.

ok no spilled water won’t do that..
you issue is your watering habits mainly and probably your light a bit close, whatever you think the light should be raise it 5 more inches..

I was thinking the same thing once I saw the last picture. I have done the same thing 🔥 now I just use the photone app because it gets me in the ballpark ppfd wise.

Thanks guys. I raised my light another 6 inches this morning.

Things are really taking off, surprised me how much 4 different plants (2 strains) grow at different rates. One of my indicas is going nuts (the one with the yellow spots). The other indica that looked like a freak early on is growing like a weed. The 2 sativas are growing slower, but looking great. Will be topping those tonight and pulling down the main stem like the other 2.

I got 4 different strains myself all harvesting at different times... my earliest is white widow and my latest will be great white shark.... blue dream and original glue somewhere inbetween🤣

This how excessive light burn will look on plants
