Do you know what is meant by “water by weight”? If not I suggest finding out about it before flipping. Take a long thin object like a barbecue skewer and really pierce the hell out of the medium. Everywhere and especially under the plant. Do this between every watering or feeding. This aerates the medium and the roots.

Use an adequate volume of water. 20%-25% of container volume. If you are watering correctly they should take this amount slowly watered in with little to no runoff.

So I have two plants in 5 gallon containers I have been using 1.25 gallons of water or so for the two plants together. Seems to runoff a little with that. I water very slowly and take my time usually 15 mins or so. They get pretty darn heavy. I definitely have been getting to dry though. Wanted to make sure I wasn’t overwatering to have root rot or anything

Far more problems from letting medium get too dry. Your volume sounds proper though.

I think the worst thing might have been super dry less than 20% rh

I switched light cycle to 12/12 we’ll see how it starts to look! Plants are as healthy as I’ve had with new growth, I didn’t trim any old browning leaves going to see what happens now and go from there. Going to switch to flower nutes next water after a good soaking of regular water today. Let me know if any opinions tricks or anything I’m doing wrong!

I got 3 vivison ls1000 lights (100watts each) on 75% going to go to 100% in a day or two. Well aware I should have 600 watts but I’m giving this a go for this grow.

Exhaust fan is still on heater control (turns on at 80 and off around 75. Heater is on to keep fan kicking on and off.

humidifiers are pretty much full blast and still fluctuates between 20-50 percent rh

I am wondering when Should I run exhaust full time? Temps and humidity would obviously drop probably would be 65-70 degrees and humidity below 30 rh. I know flowering can handle lower temps wasn’t sure if it should be right away or not.

For now I was just trying to not change anything except light cycle to 12/12 and go from there

My bro.. now you are in flower any mistakes can be u forgiven as opposed to the veg cycle.

ok let me start by saying you MUST test your runoff water and write it down every single time you water. You need the ph value coming out aswell as the EC coming out. This will tell you if you have nutrient lockout or not. May i also ask why are you keeping the ph going in at 6.0? Soil does not respond well to that. 6.5 is optimal. Let me show u a chart in a min. All your problems came from a nutrient deficiency because u have been using “big bloom” in the veg cycle with zero nitrogen!! Why are u using this in the veg stage dude? .. RH also messed u up slightly. Let me know once you have the readings going in at the top and what comes out at the bottom both EC and PH so we can figure out what’s happening in that rhizosphere (root zone) .

Heres the ph chart

Can you now see how your plants have been locked out from cal & mag?

From what I see online it looked like mag/calcium deficiency so that makes sense. I was using grow big along with the big bloom, that’s what the charts showed to use. When I started grow big nutes they made a big difference. But yes I jumped into it without reading soil, I definitely need too now and get levels better.

couple notes to those updated pictures.

Move the humidifier so its not blasting at the plant. You're going to run into different problems.
if the light cycle was just changed or changed in the last day than change it back to 18/6 until your plant is out of deficiency and problems.

I've not read all the pages but once i do i'll give you some more tips.

Ok, i've read through your four pages. Some good tips and some not so much.

Someone said lift your pod to see if you need to water. That the right method. If heavy you don't water and water when it is light. also, you need to water to drain.
@Moe.Red called it with the VPD. you need to have a temp reader to see what your humidity and temps are at. With your lights aim for 82f with 70RH

Finally, I think you should do a soil slurry mix and get the readings. Grab a cup and do a 1:1 ratio of soil and distilled water.
the dirt should come from 2inch below the dirt. So, dig a bit of dirt to the side and than pick some from the hole. Mix a 1:1 ratio with distilled water and mix it for few minutes through out the day. At night let it sit and in the morning the water and dirt should be separated. Now you can test the water and see what the readings are. lets see the results and than i can tell you what needs to be done.

Ok that’s how I have been watering it was good advice. I bought temp and rh controller so temp is 77-82 now. Humidity is great but when exhaust kicks on for temp control it pulls it all out so fast. (Temp/humidity controller was put in like a month ago so I didn’t get much growth till then)
Sounds good I will get to those readings next time I water! Need to calibrate some equipment first is all

turn the exhust speed down so it doesn't suck too hard. lol! and yes, when exhaust goes on you lose heat, and humidity exchange for a fresh air. Try to set the controller in a way that it has 3 degree temp play. Meaning you want your room to be 82f so you set the exhaust temp at 83 and your heat temp at 85f. This should keep the room stable at 82f.

you can make it still turn out good and have a good experience.
I like you to do the slurry mix and give us the readings. also, don't do anything extras so we can set you straight.

ya, and no more watering or anything until we get readings. Just make sure that the room temp and humidity is at 82f with 70 rh

Doesn’t seem like it wants to settle should I strain in and let it sit overnight?
