I grow in FFOF and coast of Maine Stonongton 50/50 mix .
I use tap water that is 7.6[ real ph after water has gassed to equilibrium ,not just ph'd out of tap which is just so wrong in many ways ].
I have never in 2 indoor grows I documented here done 1 little thing to my water to adjust ph .
I add Ca/Mg 2 times a month .Not just a little either IMO.
My understanding which is limited [ I am a noob here] is that it is pretty hard to over dose Ca/Mg ?
With that thought in my head I dose like I need to without concern for overdose .
My tap is 350 +_TDS ph 7.6 kh2-3 ,gh 9.
There are mineral springs in my area and my plants still need more added to water .
What form do you add it? Pre mixed solution or something?

I just switched yesterday from Jacks Calcium [ 15-0-0 ]. I use epsom salt for Mg.
I picked up roots organic powder yesterday [ $$] . I would have preferred a separate Ca and not a Ca/Mg mix but I saw the first sign of yellow and it has been maybe 2 weeks since last so ...
Honestly I will probably just start to use drive way ice melt soon , but I have like 9 lbs of the roots organic stuff but it smells like water downed Wholly Mackerel which means they added something .
  • DERIVED FROM: Calcitic Lime, Dolomitic Lime, Gypsum and Fish Protein Hydrolysate
  • 0.25 - 0 - 0.1 NPK, Ca 20%, Mg 5% S 1%

Again, not a soil guy but you could use something like Mendicino flowering calmag (has no nitrogen) or something like Biomin Calcium which only has 1% nitrogen and 5% calcium to get your calcium levels up a touch. Ammending your soil is probably a better approach.

Jack's CalNit has quite a bit of N

Think I got a little overnute last week, brown tips just started up.

This strain desiel has a 10 week flower I guess.. start of week 7 probably two more weeks of nutes then flush before harvest?

got a pocket microscope watching thricomes hard to tell sometimes but they look all clear still

So I got really looking today and there is a good amount of amber thricomes, maybe even close to 20 or 30%!!

I let the plants dry out a bit this weekend by accident.. left plant got more dry than right plant) and I just watered them before I looked at thricomes…

Should I cut them now while stressed or wait three-four more days to dry out again and get stressed

week ten of flower and been flushing for two weeks now.

any advice greatly appreciated!
