Progress pic:

Nothing done today aside from tucking some leaves to open up the light to some bud sites. Lots of pre-flower going on.

Smells fantastic in there

" More just helicoptering over your plants. That's something a lot of newbs tend to do in the beginning. They'll be in and out of the tent 100 times during lights on looking for issues! Just let them do their thing and they'll tell you if they need anything. Of course, it doesn't hurt to be pro active but, again, just let them do their thing!"

I'm retired and I spend upwards of 6 hrs a day in my shop/ grow room. helicoptering over and around my plants, moving clipping watering feeding picture taking recording reading smoking chatting cleaning adjusting building rearranging filling water jugs did I say smoking? and I'm not a newb....lol.........emotional damage

I helicopter a bit once they're out in the garden and definitely once they're in full flower, picking off debris or dying leaves, telling them they're pretty, smelling them like a weirdo... smoking joints, which I just had a thought the other day, that's kind of sadistic. "Aaahh my pretty girls, looking so happy today, smelling so delicious... nevermind that smoke, that's just the dried corpses of your brethren." 🌬

Since I’m planning on flipping to flower next week, I’m going to reduce the light timer by an hour each day until I reach 12/12.

I increased the dark time by an hour tonight (so instead of lights on at 6 am, they’re coming on at 7 am).

I’ll adjust this until the time on hits 10 am, which will take into account for the clock changes the weekend after next, then I’ll reduce on the other end the following day.

Today’s progress pic:

Didn’t do anything aside from tucking some fan leaves to open up flower sites.

They had a growth spurt last night. Increased dark time by another hour.

Planning on doing a final defoliation this weekend and I’ll be removing any fan leaves that get very little light / shadowed by higher fans.

Also received the pollen in the mail today. I placed it in my linen closet for the time being and will be using it in about 4 weeks when the plants are into week 3 of flowering.

Today's progress pic:

Looks like I'll be watering tomorrow morning. Going with full doses of nutrients again, probably some final trimming, and one last tightening of the wires before going into full 12/12 cycle. Right now I'm at a 15/9 light/dark cycle. Tomorrow I'll have it set to 14/10, and then I won't touch it again until Sunday morning when I change the time on the opposite end to take account for daylight savings and to match the time I'll be able to tend to the plants.

I'll either be adding the netting Saturday or Monday, depending on the growth and the time I have available. I might wait until Monday/Tuesday just to get one final feeding where I can pull them out of the tent for easier feeding before locking them in place until harvest.

I'm halfway there <3 I'm getting excited to see them start flowering!

Fed the ladies this afternoon and did a final trim before flowering. Doubt I’ll have much need to do anymore anyway, so I’m hoping I’m done with that now.

I’m probably going to set up the netting either tomorrow or Monday. Tonight is the last night to adjust the dark time to extend into the morning, then Sunday I’ll start reducing it from the end of the day until it’s at the 12/12 cycle, which should be Monday night.

Once the netting is in, I’ll be finding some flex tubing to do the watering since it’ll be tough to get to the back sides of the pots.

Turned the light up a level higher (60% I believe now), and snipped one leaf near the bottom on one of the plants.

Can’t set up the net yet - no way to attach it that’ll be resolved tomorrow/Monday as I have hooks coming in. I also ordered some pvc tubing to attach to my watering can spout so I can sneak it around the pots easier.

Tonight’s progress pic:

I also tucked a few leaves. Some of the inner bud sites started climbing pretty good, so I hope the others catch up.

Thanks! :)

I’ll check those clips out. I snagged some S hooks, so if those don’t work, I’ll get those to try out.

Just did a leaf tuck or 2, and quick scan over the leaves to check for any potential issues, and adjusted the timer to go off an hour early tonight.

Current light schedule now: 13/11, tomorrow will complete the transition to 12/12. I’m estimating they’ll get between 3 and 4 feet tall, and since this is only a 5’ tent, that’s about perfect.

Progress pics:

And 2 pics from 2 out of the 3 plants by the base for the pruning/training that I did:

Soil looks a little dry, but the weight isn’t quite there for a feeding yet. Most likely tomorrow they’ll need it, if not Tuesday morning.

The girls needed a good watering today, so while there’s still no netting in place yet, I was able to take them out and do any adjustments and pruning one last time.

Right after watering:

Right before bed:

Watering was 3 gallons between the 3 plants. 2 gallons with the nutrients at normal dosage + orca, and 1 gallon of regular water.

The hooks for the netting came in, and while they fit nicely around the pole - I have no clue how to set up the net. When I get it attached, it just sags.

Guess I'll be growing without one :P

I think the issue is my net seems to be sized for a 4x4 tent and I have a 4x2. Length-wise it's fine, width wise it just sags.

Nothing much to show for today’s pic - looks more or less like the last few. Got some height, though.

I need to fix the light as I set up the hangers wrong. Whoops

Also, idk why I didn’t think of it earlier, but I can just fold the net in half

Anyway, here’s today’s pic:

I fixed my light hangers this morning so now they’re hanging properly and no longer look like McGuyver’s dim witted cousin set it up.

Here’s a pic when the lights first came on:

I decided to fold my trellis net in half and set it up. I don’t think I did it properly, or very efficiently, so any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I might even just take it out, tbh.

I did notice a leaf that looks like it had been eaten by something. Only one, though. I’m not sure what it could be - I haven’t seen any bugs crawling on the leaves w/ a loupe, don’t see anything in the soil, and haven’t seen an earwig since that 1 time.

I might snag some neem oil or dr zymes. Do you spray the leaves directly, or just the soil? If the leaves, is it both sides, or just the top or bottom?

I’m only in day 2 of flowering (well, day 2 of 12/12, I did a week of dropping an hour per day, so idk if that affects the date of starting flowering).

Spray everything, top/bottom of leaves, stems/branches/stalk, and the top of the soil. Read the label on anything you decide to purchase. I would suggest not using neem oil, typically a no-no once you get into flower. I know it's still early in Flower (I would say you're at Day 2 of Flower), but there are plenty of othe options out there that will work. The plants are looking healthy!
