First Time Grower: Light Burn Or Bud Rot?

Bud rot all the way to the garbage can.

If you don't mind me asking, how did you ultimately make the determination that this was bud rot rather than light burn? Or did you just obviously know because your lights were far enough away? Just curious and always happy to learn something new from someone with experience :)

Actually I had no clue, the spot was tiny then progressed bigger and bigger.
I’m a bit limited to just my reach from the front of my 5x5 tent.
I run very good numbers humidity and temp wise so to have something dying was not in the books.
Then I thought maybe it’s light burn. But y just that one and nothing else.
So some poking I could determine some browning leaves , then a squeeze it seemed like it was drying there.
So I cut the dam thing off to look at it .
It was fuzzy inside so I trimmed a bit more from that area to make sure no more brown.
Lucky i was preaty much finishing up so I stared to trim that particular one a few days later.
Not anything in the canopy with mold , just a half dozen random tops throughout the whole tent with areas that I could cut around to save what I could tossing the remaining in the trash.
