Nothing wrong with a cheapy... The important thing is to validate it with a test solution. If ya want I can link you how to make it if you have a gram scale lol which in sure we all doI have a PPM reader myself, but while we are here, since i got a cheapy little like 12 dollar amazon ppm reader, you got any suggestions to maybe a more efficient one that will serve me better and longer? I always look for upgrades. Just figured while we were speaking about it^
I honestly dont have a scale, LOL but i can get one if its good price on amazon, definitely throw the link. i want to be as accurate on all numbers as possible.Nothing wrong with a cheapy... The calibration solution is dirt cheap I would just order itI honestly dont have a scale, LOL but i can get one if its good price on amazon, definitely throw the link. i want to be as accurate on all numbers as possible.
10 4No no that's the conversation rate from EC (electrical conductivity) which is always the same between meters and (ppm parts per million) that differs between some meters.
Say you have an EC of 1.0 meters calculate on a scale. So a 500 scale would be 500ppm, a 640 scale would be 640ppm and a 700 scale would be 700 ppm. All different readings for the same EC.
This is important because if some with a 700 scale tells you they are at 700ppm feed and you have a 500 scale and add 700ppm you are adding quite a bit more than they are.
Send me link to your carbon filter bud I feel imma need one lolI have a PPM reader myself, but while we are here, since i got a cheapy little like 12 dollar amazon ppm reader, you got any suggestions to maybe a more efficient one that will serve me better and longer? I always look for upgrades. Just figured while we were speaking about it id ask.^ Just got my AC infinity carbon filter. replaced the vivosun. and wow, i can see a difference. So thats why im asking, i can see upgrades make a difference. I know these are two different pieces of equipment, but still, id like to be as accurate and efficient as possible.
Thanks budFor this meter he just posted he can he can take 342mg of table salt and dissolve it into a liter of distilled water. Then he can check to make sure the meter is accurate whenever he wants. I suggest weekly at least.
Send me link to your carbon filter bud I feel imma need one lol
10 4 let me water and I'll check this stuff out bud thanks againFor your size setup, i wouldnt recommend anything bigger than a 4 inch, i mean, im pretty sure my 4 inch serves my 4x4 just fine, but ive honestly never configured my inline fan to my tent by number like some people do, some people will size it by sq ft or some shit, i just grabbed at 4 inch and it seems to work. So thats what i would recommend but i could be wrong, im sure someone will rebound me if i am. But heres some ideas.
(These are links)
Expensive Setup:
AC Infinity - Inline Fan
AC - Infinity Carbon Filter
Cheaper Setup:
AC - Infinity Inline/Exhaust Fan with a cheaper, less beneficial controller
VivoSun - Carbon filter**
** Im not sure if there is a difference between AC Infinity carbon filter quality and vivosun.
Cheapest Setup: (I ran with this for the past two years, its stressful because the fan dies out all the fukin time, u get like 4 months worth of good fan CFM. Would not recommend):
VivoSun - Carbon Filter**
VivoSun Exhaust Fan W/ Speed Controller
Pocket Change Fan: I WOULD DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENED, But i guess can be done for the time being?
PLASTIC VivoSun Exhaust Fan
Im sure there are other fans on amazon too you could experiment with, or i guess, just cut to the chase and end the issues before they begin with an ac infinity.
**Im also sure other people may have other recommendations for brands so if anyone has any brands or options to rebound this post feel free to post them. Like stated, id even love to upgrade further better myself if i can.
But i currently use the ac infinity and ive got to say, its like the smart phone of Exhaust fans.
Yeah not enough run off to get a good measurement I'm assuming... Well hoping. That's 2650ppm. Don't panic or do anything thats not correct imo. Don't flush just let em be for a few days and see how they do. They are already light stress, transplant stressed and likely a little water stressed. Time to let them chill are recoup.Ok plants have been wasted till some run off came out. That was like 265 x10 lol not sure what that means but yeah they have watery new homes and soil went down lower then I wanted it to. Going to water a lil more in a few minutes then place back with the light and pray lmao I'll add soil to the top in a day or two so when I water plants again it will stay at the level I wanted it
Nah plants will stress we can't avoid it. Just have to give em some time to recoup and try not to stress them to many different ways at once. It's not good but they should be fineLmao yeah guess I'm killing them huh
Very good point reducing light and increasing humidity will help alleviate some stress. They look ok. They will recover i think. Just let them dry out real good so the roots grow out into the new soil and find the sweet spot with that light. Transplants that are stressed should have less light until they look vibrant again. They need to root more first.
Appreciate that should I higher or lower wattage and volts I have both options with my power supplyThey look ok. They will recover i think. I can do that that I'll lower it some thanks againVery good point reducing light and increasing humidity will help alleviate some stress.
Wasn't my ideaI can do that that I'll lower it some thanks again
