First time grower. What you guys think?

I use an inkbird ITC-308 attached to my exhaust fan. That allows the HID lamps to heat up the room and the fan only vents when it reaches a set point.

I'll have to look in to that. I was thinking about putting my exhaust on a timer so that it kicks on and off every couple hours to help keep some of the heat in the room.

I actually think i have a controller laying around that i'm not using. I'll try that. I'm definitely too broke to buy anything with the word Automated in its name for at least another month, lmao.

I think the inkbird is only like $35 in the US too. You would want to make sure it cycles at least once an hour though to make sure you have adequate Co2 in the room.

Titan (and others) make a dual speed setable fan controller to address the ventilation problem. I never want my exhaust to shut off. I will get them one day.

So do you guys think the heat mat is a waste of time? I already have one of those, lol. I've got the pot up off the concrete floor but the room it self hasn't passed 70 degrees in about a week. The plant is definitely still progressing but not at any kind of substantial rate. I basically wasted the entire 4th week of flower and its supposed to be chilly for another week.

So I've noticed the purple on my sugar leaves before it was just up top bud sites now some of the lowers bud sites are getting it as well. The 2 plants with the single colas are on the floor the ones I topped are on plastic lil tots to make the canopy some what even. Again I know nothing of the seeds. I'm guessing their might be a issue? The damage on the upper fan leaves have been like that for some time now. I learned I was hitting them with to much light. I have backed off the leds and lowred power some to fix this issue. I'm close to harvest so at this point riding it out. Also none of the bud sites have really seemed to stop getting fatter so I wonder is the male sacks even had anything in them or the were weak male parts either way I'm happy. Dont see any signs of seeds or seed development. Then again not really sure what I'd be looking for first grow and all lmao. I fed the plants on the first up the nutes some 640 ppm nutes for total of 796 ppm they took it well bud dies getting fatter I an getting done purple leaves now looks cool also got drops to check ph water is a 7ph after nutes I would say between 6.2 and 6.4 ph

Here are some pics I took when I got home. And a video or 2. Just to give a over view. Mind you yes alot of the top leaves are yellow but when not in my tent the dont look as bad for what ever reason the tent makes them look extra yellow. I am 2 days away fro m day 42. Monday will be the start of week 7. Getting closer everyday. I know I still have some time before harvest but enjoying the journey. Cant wait to start my next grow. I'll have some knowledge and hope I tackle that grow better then I did this one.

Could be... Lotsa seeds in the bag seed would lead me to believe the parents had herm tendancy

I should add that's all speculation

Fall outdoor harvests can get seeded with males. I sometimes hunt for seeded bud during this time of the year. Just to stash away lol.

Which light u got and do u know what space it covers? I'm looking into new lights. Was thinking HLG. I have meizhis and after reading posts about it, I'm a little worried. I know u picked up a decent one and ur results are looking nice from it.

Who can recommend a good dehumidifier for my grow tent. I'm not trying to drop a nut on one. My grow tents humidity is to high I woke up this morning and it got up to 63 rh. I have 2 fans so getting good air movement. Imma add another fan today hope this helps. I'm in day 43 of flower so I'm still 2 or 3 weeks before I even think of pulling the plants I believe I could be wrong and might need longer. But dont wanna loose it all to bud root and mold.

I should add that my tent is length is 2.5 ft by with of 3 ft and a height of 5 ft. So I dont think I need a huge one just something maybe small will do. I'd just hate to come so far and loose it all.

What's the humidity of the room your tent is in? I would go that route. Grab a 70pint and lower the humidity of the room. That way the air being taken into the tent has a lower humidity to begin with.

Shit that's in my living room that's also connected to the kitchen. Funny thing is when I open the tent door it drops a few degrees. I believe the area out side tent is fresher then the area inside my tent.

What's the humidity of your house? There are 2 factors here. Adequate air exchange and humidity of air being taken in.

That I dont know I would have to set my rh and temp thing at different locations to better answer that question
