So this question is for everyone growing in soil. What ph pen are you using and what are you ph'ing your stuff at?
Ok I got you what drops you using? I was gonna get a ph pen test water and nutes before feeding. And also test the ppm going in and out. Since I've learned my lesson at how important that is. Since my waters ppm was so bad. I must say the plants look alot happier after following your suggestion of 50/50.I use ph drops. Mostly to check new bags of soil after mixing. Unless i have drastically overfed and or overwatered the ph of the ocean forest in my pots runoff is always 6.3-6.5 on the color chart.
I do not adjust my .3ec (150ppm) 8.0 ph well water. But with 10ml pure blend pro grow in it the ph reads 6.3. Perfect.

10 4 I think that's what I was looking at when it came to drops. I wanna say that package includes ph up and ph down. I've had my eyes on blue lab products. I just need to tell myself it's ok to make this 151.00 purchase lmao. They sure do look better. Im glad for you. I use general hydro ph drops but i use a blue lab truncheon to read ec/ppm. That i monitor every water/feed.

10 4 I get I'll do the drops for now then thanks for the info bud.I almost bought that. Its a good deal. But i dont have to calibrate or store specially the truncheon. And i just dont need the ph accuracy.
So this is what the plants look like when the lights go on. For some reason that big one on the back far right always is the first to get droopy looking when it's close to watering time. Or maybe she has a issue I'm not understanding. Either way here are some pics.
Not sure still feels a bit heavy. I did notice I move a small layer of soil up top and when I go to do the finger test it's harder then before. As if I am meet by a good amount of roots. I will see when I water again try and give that plant a but more water and check its run off compared to the other plants?? Unless you have a different test in mind I can run.I think the back plant is wilting. Too dry?
Does a physiatric test count? Not sure still feels a bit heavy. I did notice I move a small layer of soul up top and when I go to do the finger test it's harder then before. I'm trying to look up the difference between dropping and wilting leaves.I think the back plant is wilting. Too dry?
