First Time Growing Help With Trichomes

Hiya fellow farmers I do have a thread up but I thought I'd start a new one. I don't have a microscope, or jewels loop and was wandering if there is another way to tell if I'm ready to harvest or if any of you guys/gals can tell thanks

any grow shop or radioshacks has 30-35x jewelers loupes. 15 bucks. There's about a 7 day window for optimal harvest time, get a loupe dude.
