First Time Growing In A Tent :)

Hello all!

Iv been lurking here for a little while trying to get as much knowledge as I can, but as I'm sure you all know. You never stop learning when your growing! Anyways, I have a 4x8 x6.6 foot tent, upstairs in a house, I have a total of 10 seeds that are just about to sprout and soon a handful of clones. Jumping straight to the point though, i still can't decide on weather I should grab 2 600w hid or 1000w, I know it's small for 1000 and burning might be an issue, but the whole gpw has got me eager for the investment! I know they can be vented hoods and I live up in canada so it's pretty cold here. But I'm really stuck on this lighting part, currently under a 6bank of t5s.... iv got plenty more questions for this awesome community but let's start here! Can't wait to hear what advice you guys have for me, thanks and Cheers :)

Just 1 for the whole space or 2 600w for each 4x4?

1 ten that's 4x8 but you could treat each 4x4 as it's own, that's what I was thinking with the 600s but you've got the experience so if you would just 1 1000w then I'll take your advice :)

Far from experienced in a tent. I’ve always grown in rooms. Look around some more see what Farmers with tents have been doing with your size tent.

Thanks diesel I appreacite it! I have seen a couple guys and most are with 600s or some LEDs, but I'll keep looking, there's definitely more out there I just thought 8 feet was too long for 1 light, but I could be very wrong

2x600s light coverage would be way better imo.

2x600w will work better then 1x1000w. In that size tent but in a 4x8 running 10 plants id probably run 2x1000w dimmable.

I really appreciate your input man! I was about to go with 2 600s but the cost was only 70$ more for 1000s so I went with that. Thanks again for your help around here

Ya I ended up going with the 2 1000s it wasn't to much more expensive then 600s
