First time growing in aeroponics. Need some tips. Haven't finished building yet

Like the title says. Need some tips on how to switch from soil to aeroponics with clay pebbles. This is my setup

have airpunp and am getting 4in circle air stones and am going to install another net instead of the plastic homemade pot or should I switch to the style pot I have because of the roots poking out of the plastic net and the holes being to small in the net

I’d just use the pots you cut holes in, no net. Taking plants started in dirt to hydro is a big gamble because they bring all the good and bad bacteria and fungus with them. In hydro you want the root zone to stay clean either sterile or dosed with only beneficial bacteria. if you’re planning on putting dirt into the mesh it will get waterlogged and drown your plants. For hydro I’ve always started seeds or clones in rockwool or rooting plugs, then put those into hydroton pebbles in mesh pots when they go into the system.
