Finally got myself in a position to start growing my own and I just found this place so I figured it would be fun to post and keep track of how things go over time.

Currently have one tent with a Tangerine Dream clone and Banjo auto.

One more plant that was a bag seed that I’ve kept separated from the girls.

Most everything has gone smoothly, but this is after I killed three Bruce Banner seeds back to back, so I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

Banjo has been really fun to watch and learn the process with autos, and I think she’s lookin pretty. I’ve looking into lollipoping them, but I’m also pretty nervous to mess them up so I’m taking this whole process pretty easy.

how close is the light to that main top?
It’s pretty close, probably only about 5in away. I have a good foot of ceiling I can bring it up still, though. It hasn’t been burning the leaves but it is reallyyy close. Thoughts? I had the clone on a stand earlier in the grow so it could get enough before it started stretching, so I could easily do that again to get enough light.

well either raise the light or move the big one to the side and put the smaller more center, maybe put on a milk crate or something

I’m still figuring things out here and how to post and all of that, but today brought a hopeful little treat. The bag seed I’ve been growing (wake and bake) that I convinced myself would be a male seems to be sporting some teeny tiny little hairs.

I wouldn’t be mad with a male for the experience but that strain was also very enjoyable so some flower would be the best case scenario!

18-24 inches away from the top… if ur other plants are shorter try to raise them up to the same height as the tallest one so they all try and get the same amount of light… try not to take to much off the autos some people say don’t some people say do… just do a little at a time

I CHANGED THINGS

Okay. Since Wake and Bake decided to surprise me I was spinning it around in my head for a while and made some adjustments. The TD clone made her way to the sunroom.

Had to chop a couple inches from the top main stem because I walked into a fan carrying her down. Cried a little, moved on. Bugs were and are my main concern bringing her down because this is where I’ve been raising all of my veggies, herbs, fruits and flowers. I’ve got a bunch of peppers and herbs with some pumpkin starters, a couple sunflowers and last leg house plants in here now. I’ve consistently used neem oil on everything besides the weed (no intention of using it on them). Treated all the remaining plants in there with a 3 in 1 today as well. I’m not concerned with lighting because I’ve got enough artificial grow lights to supplement if need be.

So since I moved the big girl from the tent it made sense to move Wake and Bake back in with Banjo. Buy me some time with space in the tent and get more even lighting.

Still keeping a close eye on W&B but what a happy surprise! I’ve also cut a few bits off while pruning and stuck em in some rapid rooters just to see what happens. Zero expectations there except to continue learning the process.

Everyone who’s replied to me has been really f’n cool and I’ve appreciated all the input. Definitely so happy I found this place. You guys and gals are pretty cool, so thank you!
