But it's starting to form yellow spots. The one in the Hydroponics is growing slowly but its slowly turning yellow and the end looks like they're drying out

Hello Nina, welcome to the Farm!

Looks good to me. My plants always seem to end up with some blemishes early on. Just keep an eye out for it worsening.

Hello! Welcome!

Some more information and pictures will be helpful. I will split my questions into 2 sections since you have 2 different growing mediums.

Soil
What soil mix are you using?
Growing in a pot? What size? Or maybe it is outdoor and directly in the ground?
How often do you water? Do you use supplemental nutrients and what are they? How often do you feed the additional nutes?

Hydroponics
What water do you start with? Tap, RO, distilled, spring, etc. If tap, what is the starting EC (or ppm, but please mention if 500 or 700 scale)?
What is the size of your reservoir? Have you made sure there is no light leaking into your reservoir?
Have you looked at the roots recently? Any dark spots? Does it smell bad?
Do you have an air pump and airstones in the reservoir? What is the GPH of the air pump?
What is the current EC of your reservoir solution? Current PH? What kind of PH meter do you use and has it been recently calibrated?
Which way has your EC been drifting (getting higher or lower over time)? What about your PH?
Water level has been going down (want to make sure your plant is drinking)? More or less than the previous week?
What is the temperature of your water?
Do you run a sterile system or use beneficial microbes?

Answer what you can, any additional information will help. Information about your grow setup also helps. Lights, temps, humidity, size of tent, etc.

I always put a little loose worm castings around the base of my seedlings, not touching the stalk just around it, when they are slightly yellowing. seems to keep them happy.

Should I flush it?
