First time indoor soil grow feeding questions

Hello everyone,
This is my first indoor grow.. Everyone is using a different feeding and flush schedule.. some people feed every other day, some people do it once a week.. i'm feeding once every two weeks.(with watering In between) I was told by a friend the neuts I was using were to "HOT" so he recommended Maxi grow and Maxi bloom. I wanted to get some advise before I switch to the new neuts.. I'm getting a yellowing at the end of my leaves and im not sure what to do.. PH of the soil is a solid 7.0 im waiting to get my PH water meter in the mail so I know what my run off PH is. I was using MG tomato food.. Help!! Please!!

yes get rid of the MG! ..and for God's sake please get that ballast up off the floor before you have a spill!

first rule i learned, NO BALLAST ON THE FLOOR, hell if your having heat problems, put your ballast outside the room.
