Looks like I've got one sativa and one indica strains unknown, the sativa still hasn't recovered from what I guess as being Nuit burn. I toped both plants today with the indica looking healthy and maybe wanting a bit higher ppm in her feed. Does anyone have any suggestions with the sativa or just wait to see her next set of leaves.

The sativa is looking sad today might start feeding her just water every second day for a while see how she reacts. Put a ceramic dome heater in today to try raise the temps as I'm only maxing out at 21°C lights on, just a left over from the kids reptile enclosure. Anyone got any cheap tips to raise the humidity.?

It may be a little stressed from topping on the earlier side and stalled a bit.
As far as tricks for more humidity, put a wet towel or bowl of water on the floor by your intake fan.
What’s the distance from light to plants? It looks like it may be a little close, especially because you said you didn’t have a dimmer and If your on an 18/6 schedule your DLI is probably too high and we already know your humidity is too low throwing the VPD off as well. Also what’s the ph of your feed?

Thanks for the advice SpaceCowboy72 I really appreciate it I'll try a bowl of water. The light is 30cm from the plants and yes I'm running 18/6. Would I have been better to wait for 4-6 nodes before topping ? Unfortunately my pH is at 7.5 at the moment I know it should be around 6 I just don't have any way to adjust. You reference DLI and VPD can you briefly explain what these are and how they effect my grow.?

Would using citric acid to lower the pH be detrimental to the plant due to the high content of sugurs in either lemon or lime juice..

Yes, your lights are way too close 30cm on that light would be well over 1000 ppfd and your in early veg and only need 4-500 ppfd
DLI = daily light interval and yes your way over at that height and 18/6
The general consensus is to top when the plant has 5 nodes but that’s too late and if you can dial your light, temp and humidity in you should see an improvement.
Yes you can use citric acid as a ph down.

Thanks mate appreciate the pointers I'll be adjusting the heat today with a stronger watt bulb for the heat lamp. I've put a bucket of water next to the intake looks like humidity is around 60% this morning. My lemon juice isn't acidic enough I'll have to just get pH down solution.

After getting a 150 watt bulb for the ceramic heater and having a bucket of water next to the intake I got my temp to 26°C and Rh to 55-60%. I've also raised my lights to 50cm to try help the sativa out. Is the purple stems and lines down the main stalk because is stress.?

Hey SpaceCowboy72 I've measured the light using a metre set for LED full spectrum and this is what I got holding the metre over each plant with the light at 30cm..

The indica is getting..

The sativa is getting..

Could you help out with the significance of each to my grow please..

I have that app Photon and it contains links to a lot of valuable information on grow parameters, etc. Definitely worth a read. Good luck

Since Saturday I've reduced the light to 360 ppfd 22 DLI with 400ppm feed to try and help the issues with the sativa. Today both plants are looking sad with the sativa making the most gains of the two but still not well. Both plants are drooping with wrinkled discoloured leaves and purple stems, new growth coming through funny. Still having humidity issues so I'm trying a wet towel on a tray hopefully does some good.

To me the droop and light coloured leaves is a hungry plant so if things don't improve in a couple of days I'll turn up the nutrients..

These plants are drowning. Your medium is not optimal, needs more drainage. They do not need food. The plants need a proper wet/dry cycle. That will be difficult in your current medium. You have built up a lot of unused nutrients in the soil, the plants are locked out and frying. Raise your light way up and turn it down low. Repotting in a fresh, better draining medium and proper watering/feeding could save them.

Hey there. Sorry to see the girls not looking so good. I am pretty new here and returning to growing after a long hiatus. I do have a lot of research in my head though. I agree with Northern Organics. You seem to have been watering a bit heavy from the start. In many of your pictures the medium looks very wet. Coco has a learning curve on watering as it holds a lot of moisture. Many people not familiar with growing in coco start out adding in 20-30% perlite or pumice to the mix to help it drain and keep air in the root zone. You need to let that mix dry and consider doing a remix of your growing medium with some perlite or pumice. . Let that mix dry out some and no more nutes right now. See if you can get them looking a bit better and recovering for the repotting.

Cheers for the tips I'll have perlite in the cloth pots do you think I should transplant now or wait till I see improvement.? I will back the watering off to every 3 days should I use plain water for the next couple of feeds to try flush away some of the unused nutrients.?

I would let them dry out now then give only water til runoff for the next two waterings (full dry back between). Then transplant. Then give grow nutes at 250ppm with tap water. Alternate feed, water, feed, water.
