Hey guys I need some help it’s my first full grow under leds normally I use chm x3 630w with some very good results now I have one spider framer 600w and a pro grow 600w, I had to go away for 9 days left at week 3 they were looking good with lights at 100% I have everything set up for auto watering, I increased my ec from around 2.4 to around 2.8 and they seemed to love it no sign of burn I have now returned home at 4 weeks 3 days and they are I believe they are ready but definitely not as fat as normal I’m growing epic buzz and have been doing the same strain for the last few grows they normally take 6 weeks to flower and are normally nice and fat, I know a 4 week flower is unheard of and I am wondering what’s has made them ripen so quick but not filled out like normal

What’s your feed? Your plants look really nice, but also very green. Which is great in veg, but too much N in flower produces much smaller buds.

I think they look great, still a long time to go though, they should fill out much more over the next month.

Really the amount of brown feelers I would say they are ready to flush and harvest and I do think the trichomes are more cloudy than clear

Maybe the photos don’t really show what they look like so well, I will take some more in the morning and maybe a video, I have grown this strain I would say 6 times and I run them for 6 week flower they normally pack the weight on in the beginning, and the best I have done is 24 off one plant under 630w cmh

cannabis plants won't grow the same way under HID and LED.

still some weeks to go.

too much white pistils ... at this point doesn't even need to look at the trichromes ... they look like a mix of clear and milky i d'say ...

also when i replaced my 250W hps i went with a 200W led

if you replaced 3x 630 cmh with only 2x 600W led could explain why your buds looks smaller ...

what's your growing area size ? also spiderfamer doesn't have any 600W led wich model precisely ? and pro grow 630W evo 6 bar ?

this are my observations when i switched from hps to led.

i m growing in sog, short veg no topping no lst 8 plants 6L pots in 2 2x3x6 tents. 1 strain at time from seeds per tent

- overall plant look much less impressive with led than with hps
- plants are shorter with led than with hps
- i need to veg a week more with led than with hps before flipping to flower
- main colas tend to be longer with hps than with the led but more secondary branches make it to canopy level with led than with hps.
- a tendency for less larf bottom of the canopy with led than with hps
- so far in term of yield in the end i have observed rather the same dispersion depending strains/phenotypes with led and hps

yeah your LED do scale well for the tent.

and not sure your last grow was ready to harvest, lot of white pistil as well, but can't really say without seeing the trichromes on the calyx inside the buds.

here a pic with a mix of moslty milk and amber.

and you want to look at the trichromes insides the buds, not sugar leaves.

Trichomes can stay milky a long time before turning amber. IMO your buds need several weeks before I would pay any attention to the trichs. They haven’t went through their swelling stage yet…….and my experience is they need a couple weeks after they do.

They still look super healthy to me, may even be in the window, but I think I'd be waiting until most of those pistils start turning and retracting/swelling up the calyx more. I'm talking about cutting her down though, not flushing, I don't do that as I grow in living soil but I've also seen some mentions that it's not really required.
