See ya there........... But won't know it...... Ha ha hayep 2 day VIP. you will like the VIP tent. nice comfy seats.
It would be worth a shot. A shorter veg period is all.u thinks it's to late for seeds with this house? Few Michigan outdoor grow guys I know don't put anything out till June. An harvest early October. I'm thinkin I can get thru all of November with a lil TLC. It's all trial this first run. Idk
compost tea for supper this eve for the ladies. Been staying in the mid to upper 60's for a few now. There growing fast. Faster in than out. Idk what I'm going to come up with when they reach the top. Which should be by the end of June. More fun in research an stumbling I guess.
You might consider the ease of tying twine near top of plant and securing the twine on the other end with a rock or brick, heavy enough to stay put. Put the rock toward the middle of the tent and you pull the plant gently away from the walls. You can easily move the brick as the plant grows to keep things as you want them.things are still leveling out, I've added a humidifier/dehumidifier that saves a bunch of worry an guess work. The humidity from 11 a.m. To 4 pm drops an the humidifier does it's thing, then from 11p.m to 6 a.m. The dehumidifier goes. So its back to watering an waiting. You can see my faithful lookouts as well....... I'm looking at ways now as to how I'm going to trellis them away from the walls . I've used deer fence in the past... We'll see
I'm going to start training an leanin em, no choice. I did think of autos, I just worry of yields.girls getting big .They will outgrow the tent real soon. might consider autos next time .I think that will be my plan next year. 12 autos . you might even get 2 crops in a summer. like my green beans ,I get at least 2 crops of them. I have the hoops also but mine covered with wire only ,no plastic. last year the tops grew through the wire 18 inches. are yours all girls or regular seeds?
Without passive or active ventilation your interior temps come july/august will reach 130 d F inside.I would try to run electric out there. Air movement important. I have a 8x8 greenhouse with 2 fans running and 2 more on my outdoor plants. windows are always open. every commercial greenhouse have fans . come July and August it will be real hot.
I have a stockade fence around my grow to block view and my hoops just hold the fence up. fans are more for mold prevention than heat .
the exhaust fan kicks on at 86F, the induct fan is constant, my problem now is the hulk hit the top, even if I tie down, Iwonder what happens during the stretchWithout passive or active ventilation your interior temps come july/august will reach 130 d F inside.
I would start training those gals before you run out of head space. Unless once they reach the top your taking the hoophouse down. With that much veg time left your gonna quickly run out of space. Nice looking plants btwpic is clearer, good 2.5 months of veg time left...
Nice, good to see you added venting. :D I know your in the learning stages with a first time legal grow. May I suggest you start training earlier on your next run. Some topping and LST will keep your plan height down and will maximize your yields. You can also use some webbing to act as a trellis which will help. I usually start topping training at 5th set of true leaves. For reference check out my Bullfighter link in the exotic genetics forum. What you will see were all hand tied using pipe cleaners. Look at the canopy in the pics right before they got flipped to flower.the exhaust fan kicks on at 86F, the induct fan is constant, my problem now is the hulk hit the top, even if I tie down, Iwonder what happens during the stretch
Anytime you need some help/guidance/advice dont hesitate to reach out. I will do what I can for ya. Peace@jumpincactus im going to mark that thread for reading later this eve. Thank u. As far as training an topping, yes I should have engaged that a long time ago. I really had no freakin clue they would progress so fast. And I have no idea what to expect with hoophouse this year. There wil be some serious reconstructing of the dimensions next season, but I feel I'm getting a good base for next year. I'll keep truckin on till they die or it's time to chop. Thanks again....
