Really really loved the stuff. Holds a lil more water than I like, so next time I'll be mixing in 25% perlite

Its also very hot. I used roots 707 in 1 gallon containers and transplanted to 5 gallon smarties a week before flip to 12/12. I didn't feed anything except teas til day 25 of flower.

Will def be using for another grow

Wait, was the 707 or the Vermifire the one you didn't have to feed until day 25? What nutrients are you using?

A friend of mine did a side by side with a bunch of soils growing sunflowers. The one in the Vermifire started off strongest and maintained for about a month as the leader. Then it definitely started showing signs that some nutrients needed to be added. You definitely grew frosty, tasty looking herb in it. I would definitely like to see some more results with the Vermifire.

I have used the Vemi soil and liked it quite a bit. Do you think you would have to cut the Vermi Fire if using with newly rooted clones or seedlings ie too HOT.

Nice looking WIFI you got going. It's nice to only have to water & not worry about adding anything else.

Good luck with the rest of the grow:)

Def no seedlings

Clones will prob be OK but you prob won't have to feed much at all during veg

I use it from start to finish. Love the stuff. I get it in 2 yd totes. Lasts me about a month and a half and then I need another bag. I have begun feeding again while using it but only mildly.

that vermifire looks like a good mix. particularly if its helping produce buds that frosty! Are any of you vermifire users recycling and reammending? I would think it wouldn't take much; maybe a nitrogen punch and some kelp meal for an all around micronutrient boost, and maybe some cottonseed meal for a little carbon. So, anyone recycled some vermifire?
