first time using UC rdwc..

i have 1 question about the uc systems. Here are the specs on my system.

UC8XL Specs:​

• Full System Volume (Gallons): 65
• Power Usage (Watts): 145
• Recirculation Turnover Rate Per Hour: 7.60
• Recommended Lighting: 2 x 1000W
• Recommended Reservoir (Gallons): 70
• 25" Plant Centers

When i add the nutrients in the epicenter, how do i determine how much to add? do i calculate the full system volume which would be 65gallons and measure the nutes to that? thnks.​

typically, i mix in the "Recommended Reservoir", allow the mix to settle/adjust, check and adjust pH if necessary, and then transfer into the system. so yes, you are calculating the full system volume.

I pre mix my nutrients in 45 gal drums to get to the right PPM. As a rule you will need 1/2 what they recommend on the label to get to where you need to be. Make sure you know the true amount of water in your system and mix on that number. Are you using Ro water?
