My clones are just starting to show some roots through the bottom on their 4x4 Rockwool cubes. I will be transplanting them in an enf bucket system with Hydroton. How much of the Rockwool cube should be submerged in the water during fill cycle? Also I’m nervous about getting the fill and drain cycles correct for the first couple weeks until the roots are into the Hydroton. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have 16 baby girls and I don’t want to screw it up. Thanks

My first time Hydro I wanted the rock wool to get wet once the water came up.. My roots were not that long yet. I wanted them to be watered by the system early. But since my water level touched my rockwool, I had a problem of them taking too long to dry out. This probably affects my root growth as the rock wool is wet for soooo long. My second time around I will definitely only let the roots touch the top of the water level and just hand water for first week till roots dig in more.
