This is my second grow.
Still figuring out how to regulate everything, etc.
2x2 grow tent.
This is in coco that was rinsed several times and treated/soaked with cal mag prior to use.
rH is around 68% and temp averages 71 degrees. (warmer would be better, but it's what i can do for now) around 0.6 kPa
Kumaoni seed was planted into solo cup of coco coir, perlite, very small amount of 4-4-4, silica, cal mag and a tiny amount of mycorrhizae into
solo cup hole prior to placing germinated seed.
The seed germinated on 12-15-24, so seedling is now almost a month old.
It is a land race, so I was expecting slower growth. I don't think it's stunted at 4 inches in height.
Pretty sure I've got things more stabilized than my first grow as far as rH, pH, air temp, watering and air circulation.
The first set of leaves look perfect, however, the second set of leaves has a whiteish edging.
That seems to indicate a nutrient issue (lacking not burn?), since I'm fairly certain everything else is as should be.
Or is this light burn? It doesn't seem to be light burn based on my limited knowledge and experience. The leaves aren't crispy, curling or discolored at the tips.
Also, the newest tiny set of leaves look to be coming in normally, as they should be, so I'm not going to add anything at this point unless guided to do so by experienced growers.
FECiDA dimmable LED grow light 12000 lumens 130 watt (advertised, no idea actual wattage)
is at 23 inches from plant top and set to 25%
the mom clone, of a different variety, in the same tent is growing perfectly under these conditions.
So, I'm guessing this baby needs something different in it's diet or lighting?
For now, I'm leaving her/him alone and observing the new leaves.
Thanks for looking and for any tips to consider.
The last picture shows how well the clone from the mom (Dark Shadow) of my first grow is doing in the same growing conditions as the Kumaoni seedling.
and, yes, sad to see the very top plant in that last picture is (Black Phoenix) and it's pretty bad, it got a bad start due to my error with the coco.
