Hello,

Been home grower for a couple of years now and still consider myself a rookie. I am researching fish emulsion and see a variety of opinions whether to use or not to use in hydroponics. I purchased some (don't wanna mention brand in case it isn't allowed) and struggled. PH keeps raising mostly overnight. When I manage it well I see results but I don't think I should be adjusting almost daily.
1. Is it good for hydroponics
2. How frequently should I refresh water (some sights say every 2 or 3 days)
3. Any ideas of a good mixture ratio?

Thanks

Fish Emulsion is microbe food for living soil setups.
Hydroponics is very carefully calculated non organic fertilizers. I would not suggest
adding fish emulsion to your hydro setup as it needs to be broken down buy living organisms in soil
that are not present in hydroponic solutions.

Thanks for your reply. The good news is I am not on the hook for a bunch of money, just experimenting. I will flush for couple of hrs and set up again.

I'm another vote against putting anything alive (or recently alive) in my reservoirs. Just keeping the lines clean would be a big headache. I bet people do it, but it's not for me.
