I recently flipped to flower. Do you count the 1st week as preflower?? So the actual 1st week of flower will be the second week?? Does that make sense??? So should flower be preflower + your flower time??

Ok thanks. I've been reading how some people dont count that 1st week because they consider it a transition week.
well i guess so..
if there’s a concern than let us know..
just remember that the plant is done when it’s done, not after so many weeks.. usually between 9-10 weeks from start of the flowering hours till harvest..

I have to disagree, flowering starts when your plant starts showing preflowers "electrified puffs", this would be the appropriate time to change to bloom nutes. You would stay on veg during the first few weeks to give the plant what it needs for stretch, once the preflowers start to show you want to start giving bloom and reducing your veg nutes (depending on your nutrient schedule ofc).. counting from this point will also get you closer to most breeder estimates but def don't count on the breeder times, those times are just in their garden not necessarily in yours.

Ok thanks. Im using fox farm trio and my plants are in Happy Frog so i will definitely start giving them flowering nutes now . This is what they currently look like

Transition is the last big burst of energy in the Veg Cycle lasts about 2 weeks - This is why you stay on Veg Formula thru the stretch! It takes a lot of Nitrogen to grow 15" in 14 days (Nitrogen= Growth Energy) Start feeding Bloom Ferts after the Stretch! New growers will often feed bloom ferts after the 12/12 flip Just to watch all their leaves turn Yellow and drop off, this is Nitrogen Deficient From the Stretch. (the sign of a new gardener) Right On

Thank you for the info. I am in my 3rd week now so the next watering i will start giving tiger bloom.

Just remember Your Plants still need Nitrogen through flower. After the Stretch I will stay at the Same Strength of my Grow Formula I used for the stretch, But I will start Adding/Raising Bloom. The Leaves will tell you everything, If your noticing really dark green in flower youll back off the Nitrogen(Grow Formula) if the leaves start to go more yellow you will add (N). If they look a normal healthy green Stay at that Strength. Week 4,5 and 6 of Flower will be their Hungriest Weeks (emphasis on wk 5) these are the final weeks of Fruit Setting. I usually add MOAB at wk 4.5 of Flower(4 wks 5 days) keep at it farmer!

Awesome info. Thank you so much.

start off at 30-50% of what they suggest and see how the plants respond to it, fox farms can be a little strong for some plants, you can always add more but it's more difficult to fix an over feed issue

The moment of 12/12 is day 1 of your flower period.
Contrary to some techniques, I prefer to switch to a bloom food asap and keep N minimally available to reduce the amount of stretch potential, yielding shorter bushier plants and closer nodes.
Ultimately, being able to read your plants needs and work along side them is the best way to farm.

if the moment of 12/12 is day 1 of flower when is the preflower stage? cannabis needs n throughout the growth cycle but the most during the preflower/stretch period. after that, once you enter flower you can start lowering n
