I get about the same results between Clearex and RO water.

I'm pretty sure it is just sugar water.

I never use Clearex anymore - I've had the same bottle for like a year now and only pull it out on the rare occasion that I need to flush a soil plant.

Flora Kleen is a blend of acids in a dilute solution.

Most sugar complexes are acidic.

magic-like power of osmosis

Stupid shit like that is exactly why I don't use GH products. Jezus that is retarded.

Clearex is most definitely just sugars....
you can achieve the same thing with Dextrose (corn sugar in powdered form) and sucrose which is ordinary granulated table sugar.

Glucose is basically corn syrup and dextrose is powdered corn sugar...virtually identical.

Dextrose can be easily purchased through wine and beer brewing supply places. I picked up a kilogram for 2.50

For 1 litre of superconcentrated flushing liquid use:
120 grams of dextrose
60 grams of sucrose
add distilled water to the 1L mark.

this will give you the same ratio as in clearex only more 4X more concentrated.

use 3.75 to 7.5 ml per gallon to give you the same effect

Here is the back label from clearex that someone on here sent me....wish I remembered his name to give him credit, but thank you my friend will have to suffice for now :)

Oh....keep in refridgerator though or mix as needed, because there is no preservatives in the homemade version. It does keep for months in the fridge though.
I usually just mix it, use it, and toss the remainder as its so cheap.

I would say that the Clearex works better based on what you said... If the leaves yellow, then the product is working... The goal is to flush the nutrients out of the plants... So if they stay green when using Flora Kleen, then I would say that it didnt work.

I know I know old thread......
However the purpose of the "flush" is to remove excessive ferts ( organic or chem)
From the medium,
not the plant.
Thus the plant uses its reserves in itself to keep going.
Just wanted to say so those newish to growing don't get anymore confused than they are
