Hi, I use a 4' 4 tube florescent for veg and flower, average 3 to 4 plants. I will be adding a 2 foot this next grow. I am happy with the results and will be using them as I said on my second grow, veg. thru flower. I just change the bulbs in flower to the red ones. My electric bill only went up 10 dollars a month. Another grower near by his went up over 80dollars a month using the mh and hps lights. He now only uses them for flowering. I am happy with my lights, can't afford the cost of the big ones and the light bill on top of that. Good luck with whatever choice you make, happy growing.is anyone else growing with t5 florescent tubes? this will be my second grow with them and im thinking maybe its time to upgrade. tho its only for micro grows the results of the mh and hps look amazing
Here is what is on the bulb, when I purchase the light i asked if there were different bulbs for flowering and yes, this is what they gave me. Worked awesome.I hope this helps you. As for spec's lol, don't know sorry. I am still a newbie too. I am sure if you go to a grow shop they will have them. I used 1 red and 3 blue before flower, was okay. but should have kept just blue in there. During flower, i was damaged a red bulb so had to use a blue one for a bit, it wanted to reveg my plants under that bulb, got that changed in a hurry. I guess it called blue light, and red light. Still learning too. lolgood to know i didnt change anythingbut the hours of lighting what are the specs of the red bulbs
rite on thanx brother i did not know about this did it help produce dense buds. i knew about the blue and red but i thought i was fine using the reg bulbs even googled a few pages to make sure
I do use green fluorescent tubes to work in my system at night however. The green light doesn’t disrupt the girls flowering cycle as they can’t register the green light.
