Flowering just started, many leaves turning yellow

New to outdoor growing in Maryland. Growing Sweet Skunk F1. Flowering of one plant started about 3 weeks ago, and the plant was looking healthy, if a bit small. Now about 1/3 of the leaves are turning yellow (see pic). Should I be worried? It's been quite rainy recently, but mostly hot, humid, sunny days (30-35C). I have not added any fertilizer since preparing the beds in spring. Is there something I should try adding to help stop the yellowing?

It’s an annual plant. The onset of flowering begins the senescence process.

shes pulling the nitrogen from the lowers, next they'll start dropping and she will continue eating herself from the bottom up
