Hi I have my plants ready to go into the flowering stage I just want to make sure I understand what to do next. I have read a lot but I am a bit confused on what to do for sure. I have read that when you start the flowering stage you should close all the vents on my tent do not open the tent during the dark cycle only open when the light is on also I have been turning my exhaust fan off when the light is not on during the veg stage and it seemed to work fine I also have a couple other fans that run all the time (one osculating) During the flower stage what should I run my fans all the time or not? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Hi, welcome to the farm! I run my fans all the time. I am growing in a walk in closet with exhaust and intake fan with a zip door. I am in the first week of flower and the girls are starting to put out a funk as they are sucking in all the nutes I am giving them. The smell gets worse when they want water. keep your humidity down.

I would definitely leave your fans running through your dark periods, when your lights are off your plants actually "sweat' through a process called respiration. During this time enzyme facilitated reactions break down the molecular bonds of the carbohydrates to create energy that the plant can properly use. Two biproducts of this process are Co2 and H2o, the H2o is actually secreted from the underside during the night. That being said, you never want cold, dark, wet conditions because they will become a breeding ground for powdery mildew and botrytis (bud rot). Hope this helps! Happy growing

I have a 4 x 4 tent but right now I only have 2 plants growing so I have lots of light and room as long as I don't let them get to tall.

I plan on switching in the next couple days I am just wondering about how my tent should be setup for flowering. Currently I have very low humidity but I wrote that up to it having 2 plants in there so I am expecting that to change my temp currently stays at around 26 to 28 C even with all fans on I am quite curious about my vents should they all be closed and won't my temp go up without fresh air.

I am using a brand new 1200w led light with a very bright white light It has been a bit of an experiment I have had to keep this light quite far away during veg they were starting to get to much light and yellow was starting to appear on tips and a couple lower leaves but I worked that out and they seem fine now. I am staying a bit further away than manufactures specs because the yellowing started.
