Hello
I got my self some seeds, Trying to root as this minute My Question is, I only got a fluorescent Light system, I've had for a few yew years; But I can't remember which is the red spectrum and which I presume is the Cool white spectrum
I do know the Red Spectrum is for flowering, But my Light Bulbs do not tell me which is Red and which is White!
Is there a way of finding Out which is which?

Thank you
Carlvarga

There should be a series of # on the bulb.

6500k is daylight bulb
flower bulbs are about 3000k

Nice One fellow; Just a quickie I got some Light bulbs mixed up is there a way of say which is which

Look on the tube for a series of 4 numbers. Those are the "k" rating if the bulb.

After Taking a look both lights say's CF-Le 55w/827 and the other CF-Le 55w/840/4p

I think I get it now 840 = cool white 827 = warm white
not got money for good lights, this is my only my second attempt

I go by the number and Kelvin rating since I started growing. Cool white and warm light would confuse me. Lol

I would use cool bulbs for veg, and the warm bulbs for flower. I veg with 4200k bulbs, same as your cool white. And flower with a 3000k bulb. your warm light isnt too far off. So you should be good. May need a few bulbs per plant for any decent outcome.

I shell most likely get cfl to hang down bottom area of plants have my fluorescent light on top and just change the bulbs around when it's time too. I got a IR red Light in my stand alone corner lamp would that help with flowering if I used it with my Red Spectrum Fluorescents lights for extra Red spectrum?
