Your comment on yield vs nug structure/quality was spot on. Ran the same strains with lower temps and humidity. Lost approx 15% in yield, but nugs were denser and more flavorful. A win in my opinion.Good thread. You are getting some good info here.
My .02 cents ( for what it's worth... been around the block a few times) is this.
IMO... these plants are fairly adaptable to changing surroundings. If you don't rush it they can easily adapt to a lower humidity setting.
From what I have experienced higher humidity during flower, especially the later stages will give me a better yield, but keeping it at a moderate to low level while budding seems to give me greater trich production and better bud structure.
I have no science to back this up... just my experience throughout the years.
