folvic acid , do i use it until the end ?

evening all

i am about 10 days into flowering , could someone kindly tell if it is wise to use folvic acid all the way until harvest day ?

i usually add 1ml per liter to each watering

also, should i stop giving silica at week 2 ?

I think you mean fulvic acid. One fraction from that organic collection of humic substances. It’s been implicated in relieving various plant stresses. It won’t hurt anyhting. Your flowering is safe.

And just between you, me and cannabis plant, neither fulvic acid or applied Si actually do anything beneficial. But, if you use then use it, no biggie.

Absolutely both roles and benefits of Si and fulvic are well documented. I'm not challenging any good study. What I'm saying is that while Si is important for some plants, halophytes, more for structure than metabolism, you see no benefit from applying Si to cannabis. Besides Si is everywhere. What makes you think its lacking. There is no sign of deficiency to look for. Fulvic acid it's a feel-good thing. Side by side, control and +fulvic acid you would be hard pressed to see a difference in tent culture.

Some ppl flush with Fulvic Supposed to aid In the chelation of minerals.

I think ppl see more benefit from fulvic with synthetic grows but it’s def beneficial imo

As I said the documentation is out there, the science is settled. Both provide substantial benefits. It seems you are geared towards organics and outdoor. Yes there SI is abundant in nature but not so much so indoors with inert medias. Secondly, it is well documented plants cannot uptake SI but they do uptake monosilic acid.

Then just sit back and learn and take notes. Don’t give out your opinion, especially if you’ve never applied your opinion to real life experiences. You can read as much information as you want but until you actually do it and achieve a great outcome you’ll never really know. Why dont you start getting some real experience by starting some journals and do some actual cannabis growing instead of sounding pretentious. At least then you’ll have some sh*t to back up your fancy opinions

People use humics to rebuild soil in the larger commercial applications. Cannabis growers use it as a chelator to bring minerals into the plants better than the plant can do alone. It also helps build immunity in the plant and speeds metabolism or uptake of other additives such as kelp.

It's not mandatory to use it of course. Nothing more than water and a little NPK and the plant will grow but most of us are trying to maximize the plant's genetics and bring the plant to it's full expression.

Silica alone is greatly beneficial

No its not needed to grow or considered a macro “ nutrient” but the plant benefits none the less from it.

I consider it essential in any growers nutrients, like a standard if you will.
