Fulvic is documented to increase nutrient uptake.Ben,
I think you mean fulvic acid. One fraction from that organic collection of humic substances. It’s been implicated in relieving various plant stresses. It won’t hurt anyhting. Your flowering is safe.
And just between you, me and cannabis plant, neither fulvic acid or applied Si actually do anything beneficial. But, if you use then use it, no biggie.
Zill.
As I said the documentation is out there, the science is settled. Both provide substantial benefits. It seems you are geared towards organics and outdoor. Yes there SI is abundant in nature but not so much so indoors with inert medias. Secondly, it is well documented plants cannot uptake SI but they do uptake monosilic acid.Thanks. I got on this forum to learn about cannabis culture peculiarities. Really impressed with folks growing indoors. It’s tough. One thing I noticed quickly is explosion of stuff you can buy at exorbitant prices because marketing convinced you you “ need” it. That kind of bs selling bothers me.
Studies that show fulvic acid does something to relieve plant stress has been shown, yup. But sown under those experimental conditions. Conditions that the grower will probably never duplicate.
No biggie.
Then just sit back and learn and take notes. Don’t give out your opinion, especially if you’ve never applied your opinion to real life experiences. You can read as much information as you want but until you actually do it and achieve a great outcome you’ll never really know. Why dont you start getting some real experience by starting some journals and do some actual cannabis growing instead of sounding pretentious. At least then you’ll have some sh*t to back up your fancy opinionsThanks. I got on this forum to learn about cannabis culture peculiarities. Really impressed with folks growing indoors. It’s tough. Fulvic is documented to increase nutrient uptake.
Si increases plant stiffness and bud density.
Both are well documented at the thread bullion on a budget
Most of us are stopping Si after stretch so yeah 2 weeks ish
Some ppl flush with Fulvic Supposed to aid In the chelation of minerals.
I think ppl see more benefit from fulvic with synthetic grows but it’s def beneficial imo

Humic and fulvic acids as biostimulants in horticulture
Maintaining food production for a growing world population without compromising natural resources for future generations represents one of the greates…www.sciencedirect.com

People use humics to rebuild soil in the larger commercial applications. Cannabis growers use it as a chelator to bring minerals into the plants better than the plant can do alone. It also helps build immunity in the plant and speeds metabolism or uptake of other additives such as kelp.
It's not mandatory to use it of course. Nothing more than water and a little NPK and the plant will grow but most of us are trying to maximize the plant's genetics and bring the plant to it's full expression.
thanks for the replies . interesting discussionInteresting
There’s definitely a visual difference and a physical difference you can feel when running MSA to non MSA/Si

Enough said. Not picking a fight.

Right! I call Zills bs whenever I see itDon't waste your time on this fool, 231 posts and everyone I've seen is disagreeing with everyone, a real life Karen here on the boards that's going to save us all.
This above is starting to look very familiar on every thread you decide to Karen us on
Silica works great-you should try it.Ben,
