I'm going to grow in Colorado, I've read where you can start plants from seeds around March 1 and grow indoor with light 24/0, then move them outside on May 1 where light should be around 13/11 and they will begin to flower and be ready to be harvested by July. Is this true? Thanks!

No. The natural daylight hours will be getting longer in May and MJ won't kick in (or stay) in a flower-mode unless daylight is diminishing (think Fall season).

Read up on many of the posts here in the farm, there's a lot of great info here (and good seeds). Also check out "Light Deprivation" techniques and you may want to explore the autoflower strains. It's a short growing season in most parts of CO so make sure you pick strains that finish up early.

Read all you can, start with good genetic strains and keep things simple. God luck, amigo! ;)
