I feel like all of a sudden we entered some romantic comedy where the male love interest is getting questionable advice from his single friends and so arises the conflict for our two lovers.
So from a girl's point of view, gtd does have a point in that you do want to seize the chance if she's pushing at all for it. Making a girl feel rejected is never a good idea.
