I’m a first time grower. Using Fresh Farms Coco Loco. I’m in 5 gallon pots and am wanting to know if anyone knows when I should start using Cal-Mag? I’m watering with well water. Any help would be appreciated.

If you are in coco you should always be using CaMg.
Coco is very different and not always an easy option for a first time grower.
However, if you learn it well its a great way to kick off strongly.
Do some deep research on the use of coco.
Some quick-notes to get you going:
-Coco ionizes differently resulting in a loss of available Ca.
-Run off is important to keep a balanced availability [20-30% runoff].
-Feeding is usually done every watering, but at half strength. where as with soil it retains more so feeding required less frequently.

I've never used coco, but from everything I know about coco, Dr. nailed it spot on.....

Also, before use, it should be very well rinsed to get rid of the minute particles....

Once well rinsed, it should be buffered with cal-mag.....

It’s not just coco, it’s made by fresh farms and is called coco loco. It has nutes in it, kind of like a soil. Thank you for your reply and help.

Sorry man.....that goes to show how much I know.....

I've never used it so I can't give you any experienced answer.....

I will say that I use CaliMAGic in peat/perlite every feed, veg and flower.....

I also don't use alot in veg.....just enough to say I do.....

Fox farm soil, not sure about loco coco, has enough feed for about a month.....

Sorry I can't help....
