fresh paint smell harmful?..

Basically my question is will putting a plant into a newly painted room that still has that fresh paint smell effect the plant at all?

i would put a fan in the room 2 get the air circulating & freshen the air up i would wait 24hrs b4 putting plants in there.If u cant wait idont think it will hurt your plants just keep the air circulating.hopefully if your grow goes good it will b smelling like some dank nugz. good luck with everything

Most latex paint odors are from the relatively slow evaporating glycols and alcohols. U could use zero voc paints that will be lower in residual odor. However, adequate ventilation and heat (such as an indoor garden) should dissipate any odors relatively quickly. U could always fire up your carbon filter.
