I have been told that the ballasts run a different voltage or frequency but you and a couple other guys I know are running de with any ballast.Just reg old lumetek ballasts. They try n say u need special ballasts but noone can tell me whats so special about em.
The d.e. that i have r sunsystem a.c.d.e. but i have since takin the glass out and stoped air coolin em. I just use em like reg hoods. The air cooled hoods did nothing
