hey @Papa Indica do you just have a fan on the floor of your flower tent for circulation or do you have a oscillating in there?
I'm trying to figure out if I need to mount a couple little wall fans in there or just a floor fan. How do you tent growers do it?

Yo @str8smokn do you like that panda film? I recently started using the orca, price sucks but damn the results are nice.

First time using it. But now that it's up its pretty nice. Just nothing to mount to but studs. but I will be working kinks out for a little bit with air/venting I'm sure.
Got the roll of panda for like $70.

having your ladies lightly lollipopped and air circulation going through the bottom of the canopy and coming up through it will provide good assistance with keeping away spider mites as well as keep the air circulating.

Learned that from Jorge Cervantez. I know alot of people disagree with a few of his outdated methods but i got a ton of respect for the guy, hes done a lot for the cannabis cultivation culture imo.

That being said, i keep a 12" ooscillating fan on my floor, as well as a temp/rh meter to make sure im not making it too cold. It usually runs on low since i run a small space or i get fan burn on some of my lower leaves

Works good for me :)

I bought a roll for 80$ used it to build my grow space, a veg space, and insulate a drying space in a closet. Still got a bunch left.

It does tear pretty easy, ive had to make patch jobs here n there. And in some instances, run two layers to help protect from light leaks.

I also have a 16" mounted on the wall oscillating. Love that thing lol

Staples... And yes it's almost doubled up,probably use some vent duct tape and staple through it again in spots.
Appreciate any and all of your input there @gardnguyahoy .. I've just had a 16" oscillating in there but it's been 4x8 ,now that it's 4x4 it's a lot tighter so not much room for a stand up fan. Now a wall mount oscillating would work.

Duct tape and staples bro lol.

I built a wood Skeleton to staple to

added, we are trying those new PrimaKlima Yield Panels, hoping to get more in the corners with them. We run 315w daylights anyway, but would be nice to see 600 users making the same hay with a 400w overhead instead :-) will let you know results as soon as we have any. I do know not to spray them, so we added an option to flip them up when we foliar :-)

I am always fascinated by the concepts of airflow, since when we go in to the forest, the airflow can be cut dramatically around the root and lower stem regions, and yet the redwoods et al have no problem reaching upwards and full filling genetic potential.
Perhaps the concept of intensive growing can be helped with a better understanding of the types of biology that are clearly assisting free oxygen production in soils, enough to feed the fungi that's for sure, and those aiding the conversion of gases such as methane in to CO2 around the guard cells of plant leaves etc. Plants produce O2 as a by product of the photosystem, thank god :-) How this is all held together in the wild is now being replicated indoors with some varying success or not.
I use phototrophs (usually purple bac forms) to help reduce the latent impacts of close quarter planting, of course we have masses of airflow too, but there are spots where the plants can restrict the open flow, here is where the biology can help reduce the inherent stresses environmentally on the outcomes of our plants.
Very interested to learn what other people think about changing conditions in the wild and how these can be observe to help us inside

I have four clip-on fans, one in each corner, all on low, creates a beautifully breezy environment for them without getting too crazy on the air flow. I actually have 6 of these fans, one of them in my veg, the last one is in with my TK to blow directly on the tank to help keep the water cool.

As far as the seeds go, I personally wouldn't use the seeds from the plant that actually hermed but, any seeds created from that pollen on other plants should be usable fem seeds, although they may still carry some herm traits in them that could randomly pop up on you. I'd try them out.

Found some nanners fully opened up on my Vertigo. I'm guessing it's the big fluctuations in temp. At times it has drop to high 50's /60's at night, but now the heater is staying plugged in and on.
So I might get some auto seeds this run ,I will test grow what I might find on the other ladies.

Ok so now onto the old ass ? Will the seeds from said plant produce all female plants or female /hermies? These are only producing nanners like in two places , pulled and discarded..it's not full blown hermie. So seeds should be good all around ,on her and on others?
I know this question gets mixed answers, but thought I would ask again.
STR8

Thats a tough one man. My experience is that using seeds from my hermies is a gamble... you could get some killer females.. or some hermies.. the hardest part is they are fucking good at hiding their parts when I run them from a hermied plant mom//

I have many of them saved, but am trying like hell to never run them again.

Then again, if you are just talking a few at a time and can keep a good eye on them.. might be worth trying a few now and then..

Well I'm pulling the nanners as soon as I see them, but I figured any seeds that might form on the other females should be FIM'ed seeds.
How are S1s made ,pollen from female /mom on then pollenated on clones of mom, or on mom herself?

So when you use Silver Collided or what ever, you collect pollen from female and pollenate other females. Fem'd seeds then.
I'm just trying to understand it a little better, but yes I will collect and tag any seeds and from what plant . That way when I test a couple I can watch them good and see if any or all of them produce any herms.
Thanks for your input there @miko .
I would be eating up anything she makes with that ass.. Ass bread ? Yes please..nice cookie/biscuit.
