im not in hydro now. im in soilJim I just don't know enough about hydro or coco to givebu any real advice.....I got a lil experience trouble shooting organics and soil....wished I knew more but tiger bloom fixes any small deficiencies I have and my soil mixture has alot of good stuff...

last run I was tripping out bro..bought ppm solution to check my meter, tought my ppms was off. was adding full strength nutes and not getting very high ppms. results was showing alil nute light. but I realized my bulbs were do for a change. so I didn't look back . but now its blessing me againThe way i see it ....the lower the ppm's are that im starting with the more nutes i can give em while still staying under a certain amount. If Im starting with water that 400ppm for instance and then try n add 800ppm of nutes to that im already at 1200. But if i start w 0ppm i can give 1000ppm and still ultimately have a lower number but nore fertilizer.
im on it brother..started a few trans plants lastnight to help a few outI would dissolve 1 tsp of epsom per gal and douche em with that today and resume normal feeds tomorrow jimmy .thats if i was using tap water like yours and based on the facts you have given :)
Damn, I keep hearing all these high ppm numbers for tap water, mine comes out at 29.I think im having a magnesium def... my tap is coming out 110ppm..i been digging that low number but now I think im showing def.. paling ang rust spots

Mine is 1100ppm after 2 whole house filters.Lol you guys all got it made,my tap is 750 to 800 before softener drops to about 350 to 400 after softener and my r/o makes it 8 to 10ppm.
