I seen on another site where those temp controllers arw about 20 bucks on amazon,the digital one that controls heat.just seems like with your shop skills you can make a better one for less than a grand.then when and if there is a problem you can call yourself if talking on the phone is your big selling points lol @mittenmedgrow
You waited this long whats a few more days research on a 4 grand purchase ;)
Linky link please

Yeah I'm new to this so I could be way off.

@basseye
Watched that rosinator video and showed it to a few people and we all agree it makes a lot of product but the product looks like garbage. Notice how long he is squishing it. Mt friends rosin is always honey yellow and that dark shit has very little to no value. Me being able to move quantity hinges on the quality aspect. I need quality first not quantity. Mike at rosintechnologies assures me that once familiar with the press and process 1 guy can easily produce 8- 12 ounces in a 40 hour work week which is what I'm looking for. He thinks one guy can do much more than that if I need him too.

That's a lot of squishing. Hire this chick..

Well i just seen some stuff you made in your shop and listen to how you talk and it sounded like you like fabrication more than growing (i think you said it once) and figure this was a perfect project for you.i showed that vid so you could see the simplicity of that setup.i assume you already had some type of press and enough knowledge to wire up some platens to a controller.you could probably make more building and selling presses for what im seeing with these crazy online prices.
Rosinator dude never showed us his material and pressed long and hot maybe too much pressure.who knows.but i seen other vids with good yields and much cleaner looking product.

Linky link for that as well please. I'm sure I could build something and I do enjoy fabrication but I am already behind on a couple projects for friends and the garden is killing all my time. I would rather pay for something at this point. I had to cancel my fishing trip with gnome and I love fishing. I did not get out once this winter and it's not going to happen. I realize 4grand is a lot of money but it will literally pay for itself in a few days after I receive it. I have been neglecting my family too much as is and can't take more time playing with my tools.

bro unless your the gnome,we cancel a fishing trip every day because of work right ? lmao,ok ill look for the link to the controller.was there another link you wanted?
Thanks I'd appreciate it. Some good vids of larger presses producing quality would be great.

Shit bro, I know damn well you could do it and you'd probably have some fun doing it too but, if you're already stretched that thin and you have the money, not to mention how quickly it'll pay for itself. why not just order one. Just make sure to spend enough time researching to make sure you're investing in the right one. (Time... time, time, time. Everything comes back to time, doesn't it?)

i cant link the site because of the rules here buts at riu in the concentrates section.couple dudes gave multiple links to diy stuff for presses.its the bigger thread there last few maybe 6 to 10 pages i never got any further cause i ended up on youtube watching press vids lol
