My poor mom is allergic, she loves seafood but can't eat scallops. What's the best time of year to go to Maine for seafood? I assume it's seasonal.Oh ayuh, faackin' love 'em.

Very much depends on what you're after, although we haven't had a shrimp season the last 2 or 3 years, I think this winter was the first one back in a while. Best time for lobster is definitely mid-late summer. My poor mom is allergic, she loves seafood but can't eat scallops. What's the best time of year to go to Maine for seafood? I assume it's seasonal.
