I don't always consider it "negativity". At my age/with my experiences on this rock....I prefer to see it as " a cautious reality".

And hey.....I'd love nothin more to stop thinking "damn..here comes ANOTHER ONE"...but sadly....they just keep gettin' off the bus thinkin' they are somehow clearing a new path into some sort of new "scene".

Nich probably isn't the right word. I know first hand that there are folks in my area don't buy $200 a zip weed.
They would rather pay half the price for weed that's not quite as potent or pretty But still Medicates them nicely

Yeah...it is kinda selfish. However, as someone who admitted to only being involved in all of this for >>less than 18 months<< and sees nothing wrong with (self-admittedly) tossing out substandard product, regardless of who it fucks in the ass or what it does to a long-standing market many folks depended on... that "selfish" comment is undoubtedly one of those "pot callin the kettle black" moments...as my Grandpa used to say...

I think obs was just giving you the same critique you would get at a dispensary.. They don't go off of how strong it is.. They primarily go off of looks smell density... And if they don't look aaa you ain't getting them prices! Simple as that... Quiet frankly ppl are being more than honest bout the scene out here and how it works... Best of luck to you and your adventure into the Cali scene bro!

Ps.... Obs is def someone you should listen 2 when it comes to product.. Check out his thread bro! Lol... He's what we call a master grower out this way... Also was the person who brought the whole alien line to the scene... Best of luck though SS

I didn't read every post but I will say, Looks is what will sell your herb in socal, not the golden words, " it's really good, once you smoke it!" There is so much excess herb, indoor outdoor year round now that if it doesn't kill it with looks, your done son!
Nothing about you personally, it's just the market. Nobody wants to hear the words, it doesn't look like the kill but it is...
Trust me, if you don't have alliances and avenues set up like ten years ago, you're gambling!!!
Obsoul33t knows from experience and I can second that, things aren't what they used to be. Top top shelf indoor goes for 25-27 nowadays. Consider the most expensive real estate on the western side of the USA and the most expensive power and highest prices for everything you eat and use.

If your set on coming to California to live, Do IT Morgan!
But, make sure you have a huge nest egg or other avenues on income or more than one working person in the family...I don't wanna talk negative or bad. Just saying, the days of 4k a pound are years ago! Like Obs said, I see more people getting rocked out of the biz than ever, your paying top dollar to grow herb that if sold for top dollar, is nothing next to the prices in other states. I tell everyone, stay in your state and grow there....but if you wanna live in CAli, just make sure you have an income, jobs are non-existent and everyone living here who lost their job will be competing for any coming in the future. It's not a deterrent I'm selling, it's the truth.

I think everyone should read all the posts , I love to grow and not only pot I'm not looking to get rich and or sell my pot I'm looking to help where I can and better my skills on green energy.

I'm so sorry for making people think I wanted to move to Cali to grow only I'm not to sure where that came from but that's not the plan. I'm hopefully gonna be working with Shilo Massive once I get out there gonna fly out in the next few weeks to do a meet and greet type thing. So I'm not stupid by any means wouldn't uproot my family to go somewhere and fail.

I really thank each and everyone of you for lookin out for a fellow green thumb I just think everyone may have taken my posts the wrong way.

For the ones who thought my plants or end result from 2 plants (hahahahahaha) what makes you all think it looks like a mid grade? I would love to hear what you have to say from just looking at a few photos. The DeadHead OG was my first time growing this strain out and as I'm sure you all know no strains are the same and I garentee you if this plant yields like crazy you will see as I have it in my tent now and it's about 6 feet tall and it's first week of flower.

The LSD plant depending on cut it grows how it wants it's one plant that produces crazy amount of resins trics

Hit the wrong button it's kinda tough working this forum from my phone :) but anyways the LSD I have grows crazy and popcorn nuggets of gold some powerful shit my friend.

Maybe once I get a bit more comfy here I'll boot up the MacBook and share some other photos. So you can help me figure out how to keep my meds from looking mid grade.

Key word the end of winter and the tent will be for special projects and my 2 8x4 foot and one 12 foot octagon beds outside are for outdoor.
