Looking good you be needing to bend and net them babies down before too long

Question, do you have to keep trimming the bottom braches and leaves till bloom or is it a one and done type thing? Cause it seems like I have to trim alot off, and only a few days after they are very thick again. Any info appreciated!

Crushing the stem slightly between fingers allows a stem to bend, not break.
Try to avoid longitudinal cracking, but some is unavoidable.
Tanglefoot is the trade name of a tar like paint the can seal up damage and help prevent pathogens from taking advantage of stem breaks.
Be ready to support the compromised stem, as letting is flop about will not help.
As for trimming, I would allow yourself the task of harvesting lower buds, (larf) and decide for yourself how you want your future grows to be.
