Its both some spots are just trichome clusters and some are fungus it's why I keep going back and forth between what it is without the microscope its really hard to tell so I treat it all as PM and hope i can make it to harvest without it reaching bud I have the tools to do that at the minimum I'm not giving up just have to stay on top of it the plant serviced losing half of the plant literally lol it was 16 colas before the limb broke and gave up after 5 weeks the buds went limp it broke at first top sight so 8 colas gone

Lol not enough left for defoliation what's left has to stay I have to clean the leaves I have already defoliated to much to keep doing that being AI's best and most common go to was not a solution most definitely need a hepa filter for the lung room

Some supplemental UV-B light can help too if you can't make the environment less hospitable for spores.

I see your plants are still in purple spectrum, not good my 2 cents.

I think the plants are to skinny, not enough vegetation and to early to flower, or what's your day and night time temp and humidity also your dew point ?

@Putthataway is far from a troll......somebody you may want to listen too to avoid these types of mistakes in the future. I also agree with asking Ai questions when you have already asked everyone on the Farm
You plants were nice and healthy at the 'before' stage and then you went Edward Scissorhands on them. More stress means your plant is weak and unable to fend for itself against all enemies!!
50/50 milk to water os an easy combination to help combat your PM issue. Move your lights up 6", spray them all down, and try to keep your humidity below 50%.

That is most definitely powdery mildew.

Have it, did not treat before flower so now I either throw it out and or try to subdue for a bit more time.
I chose the later

Folks tend to recommend you stay away from it when you're in flower to avoid affecting taste and smell. But sometimes you have to sacrifice something in order to save everything. Sulfer is also effective, but if you were looking for the lesser of two evils, definitely stay away from the sulfer. It helps make terps in the soil, but wipes them out on the plant itself.

I can say that neem oil does say it works against mildew.

Personally I say it doesn’t work the best as I did spray that and then still ended up with mildew.

Wettable sulphur , killls period.

If in doubt, spray some wettable sulphur before flower.
I have more than a few times now and did not get it.

Better yet, try finding strains that are mildew resistant , like white truffle for example and if not.

Again wettable sulphur can and will be your best friend.

Learn from my fail (LFMF) and don't use sulfer spray on your buds unless you are out of other moves. It will turn the bud surfaces brown and make it smell like a pack of matches. You'll need a triple dunk at harvest too.

IPM tech here. DEFINETLY PM pressure all over. Apply a cleaner asap. We use Lost Coast, but basically peppermint oil, rosemary oil with other components but any organic oil based cleaner will help. Light/med psi on your sprayer so you can eradicate them. Hope this helps!!

In my situation, I have a lot of leaves.
I can’t access everything.
So all I can do is slow it down.
I have thrown a few crops away but thought let’s try painting.
Have to keep shaking my jar as sulphur settles quickly.
Stops what I wipe which helps a bit.

Might have been something else you were dealing with then. Powdery mildew is a surface colonizer. It'll anchor into tissue but can't penetrate a plants vascular system. Hopefully you got some good takeaways from the thread... trichomes can give a patchy white fuzz appearance on your plants, but so does powdery mildew. There was information shared on how to distinguish the two, and some strategies people shared that they use to combat WPM. Hopefully you are more ready for preventing it from rearing it's ugly head in your grow space.

An early top brake wrapped to long a second brake while still wrapped then symptom of pm removed limb and wrap shaved off the brown it helped of was not enough though got greedy tried to save my yield not the plant and it cost me never again
