I'm almost done trying to help people out. Jesus Christ. I transplanted from the age of 14. My mom used to even fluff the bound up hair roots before she transplanted. She taught me to water in freshly transplanted with a tsp Epsom salt per gallon. Almost eliminates shock.

Please don't take me out of context so let me clarify to not disturb the main root ball.

I only offer advice I've gained from my mother who lost a battle with cancer 4 years ago. I have info. If you don't want it that's cool.

When I transplant I dust the rootball with mycorrhizae product with kelp. You have no idea how those blow up in the next few days ;)

For sure. I do cheat. My girlfriend hates nasty compost tea buckets laying around. I like this stuff +LIFE because it's aimed at fungi and bacteria. I also dig the hole a little larger than needed and line the bottom with EWC and backfill whatever is missing with it. I feel like it helps with the transition.

Not sure if "helping" someone who isn't asking for help is really helping, I can see offering an insight on something but, when they say they're all set and you continue, it kinda strikes me more as interfering, maybe even just flat out being a dick but, what do I know?
