G4 - Julius Caesar - Harvest Photos

Last night was a long night, whew... I got 3+ unweighed jars of A class nugs. I got unweighed jar of B class, and a bag of unmanicured B, I will use for oil only (along with all my trim).

Here are my harvest photos (good nugs) and my first attempt at shooting my own porn (at least that's all I'd admit to in court).

Wow, that's not bad 1001 posts...

BHO is where I am these days (trim made), dreaming about a new 92FS (I am waiting for), and a FiveSeveN I think could be useful (and fun!).
I can't wait for this stuff to cure, so I can turn in a smoke report!

G4 - JC - Final Nug Shots

Here are 4 good nugs from this JC harvest. They are basically dry, and have been curing in their jars. The last couple days the lemon/floral smell has been coming on better, every day. I can't wait to try a really nice cured nug of this plant in a few days. I burp the jars at least a couple times a day, also seperating individual nugs in the transfer. I tried the oil, and it is off the hook delicious, and so far I'm only trying the water leaves.

Julius Caesar - Early Smoke Report

Well, these are fore sure the tightest nugs I have grown. Because of this dank quality, the nugs are taking a little longer to dry/cure than my previous grows.

I am gonna take a hit as I write this and elaborate as it hits me. I don't like proof reading as it takes emotion from one's writing (though it makes it more professional too). So here go I to take hit 1...

Well, hit one tastes very master like with the punch of an OG. I kinda get a latex taste with a sustaining nice pine, then the OG sweetness comes on with sugary aftertaste. I coughed even though I have been smoking for years which isn't a bad thing. I wonder where that latex taste is coming from or what a better description for this would be?

So here goes hit two...
OK, hit 2, scratch the latex and throw a deep hash and lemon taste... The aftertaste is this time a sweet floral taste...

The punch is there as I am coughing as I write this. Now it's time to run out for Charlie Kabob (My favorite restaurant these days, next to Kay & Dave's Cantina).

Harvest Weigh In - Futher smoke reports.

1/2Lb C Class

This is for sure the strongest CaliConnection gear I have smoked. I cough almost every hit, hard fruity hash like. The reviews are rave, veteran smokers confirming the strength. One friend stated that he felt nauseous, and I told him, oh sorry. That was my favorite review! Kr--Pow! This stuff was done at 62 days also! Another winner from Cali Connection!

I used a little less than a 1/4lb dry nugs. I used Vector butane. The BHO thread here really helped me get started with this stuff. Thanks for the compliments!

Monster Cropped Julius Caesar Update

It took quite a while (more than 2 months), but they finally took off a week or so ago. I had a bit of stale air in the left corner of my mothering room (new issue). I think due to dirty fan blades. This delayed their growth quite a bit I'm certain.

I relocated these monster cropped plants to the right side and have them on auto drip now. They are doing really well now and take up quite a bit more water. They should be ready to clone in the next couple weeks. I plan to clone them 7/26 or something close to that. I expect the AlienBubba to be sexed at that point, and able to clone them both for veg.

I am really not that incredibly impressed with the results of monster cropping because it took so long to revert the plants. I observed that removing all the flowering material early has no negative effect on the growth at all. There are several more, tighter internodes in the monster cropped mothers than in the normal seed or clone based plants I had.

I can't wait to get this next round going in the next few weeks finally! I am so curious about the AlienBubba?

You won't regret it. This strain is my 1st solid keeper! My ROG was good, CVK too, but this stuff (JC) consistently knocks me on my a$$ and that's what it's all about for me. I can't explain how sad I would be to lose this friend in my garden.

Solved my purge issue too (see many bubbles in portioned oil), have to use the double boiler method to purge for the length of the purge (not just during spray as I had been doing). Otherwise, the scrape dish freezes on the underside as it purges, causing condensation and losing it's ability to purge. Another lesson learned...

Nice errl Leb... My buddy pops dem bubbles before they cool off. He also used just the tip of the baster (he cut off the straight section) which made short runs quick and easy with few clogged pipes... :itwasntme
