I have Milwaukee markers from when I did union work. They work better than sharpies. Even those don't withstand a garden season from seedling on. A few years back I didn't know what anything was until it started fruiting. ๐Ÿคช Those markers have saved me since. You're welcome.

This one photoperiod is much taller now. It's the WW x Purple Kush. I've been patiently waiting for the branches and growth stems to get longer so that i could take clones of it. Today i spread her out using paper clamps along the rim of the pot and threading jute twine around the branches and pulling her gently downward. Lots of exposed bud sites now ๐Ÿค“ << these are much needed. The clones will be for fall tent run. All i want are 2 healthy strong ones so i need at least 4 stems for being safe. I'm not bragging but i do have good success cloning. ๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿคž
On your WW x Purple Kush, where do you take cuttings from? The lowers?

I was taught to take them from lower, middle and upper. Upper i was told is the most vigorus rooter but really i never paid that much attention to which was which. And i moved my 2 bloomer Slurricanes and all the autos under my patio at 2pm today. It's 98f here but it's going into triple digits for several days. I've been soaking chopped up bananna peels for giving the 4 photos still sitting out in the sun. I've made 4gal. one gallon for each. Good thing my dogs like banannas too LOL. My autos looks really tired and drained in the 1 gal. pots. I don't want their little trichomes getting fried, I know the roots are not happy but soon maybe 2wks i can chop a few.

Well it's hot enough to fry an egg on the cement. My flowering plants go from exposed to shady It's over 100f dry wind. Some other cities are already doing rolling power outages. Some outdoor growers might not mind leaving flowering plants out in the very hot sun but i don't like it so i move them to shade. Now those 4 others out there in the dead lawn๐Ÿ™ƒ if it gets above 105f they are gonna be under a nice maple tree. Last 2 pics are the Slurricanes not slowing down on the flowering. In fact in the 5th pic that's the little shorty she's spitting out more hairs than she had several days ago. So both these are far from being on the down ward slide of finishing. I was hoping by the end of July but who knows??? I was able to harvest the mom of these in the tent after 55days in flower so these gals are gonna push over 75days in flower. I count flower when i see the budlets. The other 4 are just beginning what looks like a preflower stretch?

All are getting proper nutes for there stages. Plus a extra bit of bananna, worm castings tea for the big ones. Gave the bloomers a dose of epsom salts waterings. Take care, stay hydrated.

Sorry about the dark pics of the clones did'nt have the kitchen light on duhhh. Just wanted to tell ya that i took 3 clones off the WW x Purple Kush ( first pic but it's alot bigger now past the bamboo poles ). Only took 3 may need more depends on these rooting well. I do it old school cut at angle, placed right away into water to not seal off the cut, scrape the stem alittle rough it up slightly dip it into the rootgel and then into moist soil. I also clip the tips off a leaf on each, just the way i was taught. Should know in about 10days or so if they rooted. I used a old store bought cake container, i save those LOL they work pretty good they seal real tight. The soil is abit of my mixed & seedling soil. Pre wetted all of it including the inside of the cake box. They'll get sprayed with water as needed, as long as it humidifies inside they should be fine. It's hot still here right now they are sitting near a window in my garage, they'll get more light there for now until i set up my CFL bulb & reflector later.

8 days since last picture updates. There's some changes. Heat is still blasting us but at only 98f now. Wind is torture for everything right now really dehydrates and is burning up my young trees an bushes that i planted last fall and this early spring. I gotta hand water with the hose all around my place cause i have no inground sprinkler system setup yet, i'm saving money for it and will get a landscaper to do it. Until then i continue to plant bushes an trees for some future lushness an privacy.

OK there's those unknown autos in pics 1,2,3 i'm giving them just water looking like i'll be taking down a couple mid week. They are pretty much done with doing much further ripening an drinking. I'll be glad to see them go LOL๐Ÿคฃ my kitty in the last pic she jumps on that table and brushes up to them and i go around pulling hair off them. Don't matter much to me about the not knowing which strain is which cause they'll all go into a jar to blend with my indicas. 4th pic is my biggest blueberry muffin she's at about 5ft. the other 2 muffins are about 4ft. & 3 1/2ft. Then there's the mother of my clones who's WW & purple kush she's a short and wide little gal maybe 3ft. The 2 blooming slurricanes are ripening slowly. They get bloom food between waterings 3gal. ea. Pistols are changing slowly i'm hoping end of July for at least one.

All the plants are taken under shade in the afternoon when it's the hottest. It's a PITA ya get me?๐Ÿซ๐Ÿซ But it saves them from frying. One of my slurricanes was showing folding leaf from the heat wish i could of given her a shower like the vegging ones get. All she gets is fluids in her soil an teas. Hope all is well on your sides of the garden.

Your Autos look soooo close to the finish line. I finally chopped my super early frostberrys I had in the 1 gallon pots. Not enough there to bother with BUT I found seeds and the only male around was also a Frostberry so I'm gonna save them for next year. ๐Ÿ™‚
Crazy that we've got too much rain and you not enough.
Your slurricane looks great! Lots of leaves, did they re-veg at all?

Not that i could tell, but i think one may of hermied do to heat i see some foxtails small ones when i give them all their daily check up. And i did remove alot of leaf from one slurricane it was ugly they were just dry like paper. I've never gone through such heat since i've lived in this area for over 40yrs. Maybe it's partly my age ? I know it's bad cause even the neighborhood kids are not outdoors playing not a peep. Good for you with getting some seeds. I love finding random seeds.

Well i went ahead and took down 3 autos this morning. Can't say what they are cause the writing on the label washed off. Anyhow i do a wet trim although i've hung them with leaf still attached before but i prefer to trim off all the larger fans and just do a close trim of the surger leaves.

Same here, only I'm in Washington State. Family in Eugene tell us it has been extremely hot there. So far, it has been hot here, but not as bad as it has been there.

My daughter lives/works in Eugene๐Ÿ‘it's cooled down a tad, i wonder how the country fair did this year? I only went to it once because it was sooo dang hot and crowded stuffy. Could'nt enjoy the music and the weed it was uncomfortable.

Day 3 on the clones i cut from the White Widow x Purple Kush. So far they are upright. I expect some droop maybe shock it happens to me sometimes then they begin to stand more upright but these are little troopers.๐Ÿคž

FAntastic read! Your plants are amazing. I say when your smoking the strains of the washed away labels try your best to match the terp profile to the strains so you can make a best guess on aroma and flavor to identify them. I thought you would be boss if you were able to sniff the difference during the grow! I raised my joint to that thought!

Just for fun try to guess which strain is which and tell us why.

Welp i'm down to 4 of these mystery autos. 2 are now hanging 3 are curing in jars. Honestly these plants are so small to me anyway that i can't let them hang for more than 3 days and the stems begin to snap. So i clip them off and jar the buds, burp them 3x day and seal them up at bedtime. They are sticky not like a GG#4 by any means but sticky enough. It looks like i'll get 5 quart canning jars from the 9 autos. Not great but it's a harvest. It really doesn't matter to me which is which strain, there gonna get mixed into the slurricane that i'll harvest at the end of the month possibly sooner? I know at least 5 are CBD x AK47 and the rest are indica crosses at least that's what i was told by the fella who gave me the seeds. โœŒ๏ธ

Chopped and hung all the autos now finished this a.m. So glad to be done with that run. Won't be long for the 2 photoperiod slurricanes just ripening away. Checking trichs daily all milky on both plants, gave them water only today. Watered the other 4 photos and will also give some fish poo tea later. I've began thinning out the interior of the plants removing inner bud sites setting up for the lollypop. Which will happen in about a month.

Good morning fellow farmers ๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸŒพ7 days since i took clones from my small outdoor photoperiod of WW x Purple Kush cross. All 3 are doing well i don't see roots yet coming out the bottom but i can see life coming from the top so all is good. Next pic are the growing Blueberry Muffins doing real good with the slight training opening up the centers and removing skinny pencil lead stalks. Could of made 20+ clones from what i took out. 3rd-4th pic of slurricane cola and plant. She makes me smile the little stubby plant that gave it all. Only about 2ft but those colas are fatty like a can of pop solid. Kinda scares me a tad because she's so dense but i check her so often for stem rot or bugs still no sign of issue. Then there's her sister who's opposite of her much taller but less dense bud structure. No she did not reveg she's just fluffy like foxtail bud. Must of been stress heck i don't know but she's eating/drinking and seems to be thickening but then when you have plants for so many months and view them many times a day myself i don't see quick changes LOL. Maybe i need to leave for a week LOL naw that's not gonna happen till winter holiday. ๐Ÿ•๏ธ๐Ÿšฃโ€โ™€๏ธ

Happy Sunday, I've decided to take the slurricane apart and hang the top colas. Yesterday turned muggy and dark in the afternoon. Last night till early this morning we had lightning, thunder and heavy rain. It's muggy and warm so after i looked at the trichs on the top 2 colas of one of the slurricanes i saw all milky very little amber and just for the sake of my not freaking out thinking it's so fat it's gonna mold i took the top 2 colas off. They are so fat i cannot wrap my hand around them i've got 2" at least to spare. I tried using my stubby beer bottle as a referance but i'm no photographer and i stink at it LOL. My phone camara is basic can't get trichs either. Anyway i left the bottom portion outdoors still under my patio is where the flowered ones are the rest are in the yard and faired well during the thunder storm and rain. I'm just thrilled how big these colas got i just hope they go through the drying process well. They are hanging in a spare room the ambiant temp is 73f at 75f my forced air goes on. I've got a fan circulating now in there.
