I was watching a show on TV about new tech and they showed gardens being lit by using fiber optic cable. Sunlight was captured on the roof and transmitted by the fiber to an indoor garden. It was just mentioned briefly as the show was regarding something else.

Sun tubes or solar tubes. I looked into those a few years ago, fiscally not feasible to try to retrofit the house to bring in more direct sunlight. So, I just use the land I have and capture what rays fall there.

What I'd really like to do is be able to afford a good LED setup so I can do a little indoor growing again. And I'd also like a GH, with some Gavitas. And I want a fish pond, and a pony, no, not a pony, ponies are assholes, I'd rather have a horse but I can't ride it.

Think you can find a YT of what you saw?

The program is called Xploration Earth 2050, season 1, episode 8. I watched it on Amazon Prime.
