Ok so I don't know where all the moisture is going, I put a 3 gal humidirier in that did not work so bought a 9 gallon and that after 2 days and filling ever 6 hours only got it up to 37% so I just paid 350$ for a 15 gallon drum system, will let you know what happens.

I'm putting a float valve and constant water feed on mine in my veg room. Sick of filling the damn thing.

Ambient RH% today is 9-11% here. It doesn't take long to go through the water while trying to maintain 45+%.

Well looks like I may have the humidity issue resolve for now the new machine works OK but will need to add a auto fill with float like RMCG suggested.

The girls are starting to rock and will post pics some time tonight. Starting to feel more reassured about getting this done.

howzit my friend, looking nice in there, May I suggest filling the net pots up a lil more so light doesnt leak in... other than that looks great:)

Here are more pics will go put more clay in the pots right after this. You can see the girls are doing very well except for my straggler which I took out of dirt. It is growing so I think it will come back. One shot of all the humidity machines and with them running full on can't get over 50 for long, well in 2 months it will be the other way around...

Looking good buddy ;) I have been running a vented room this time around and can't get my humidity as high as I would like, thinking of going back to sealed.

WOW plants are going crazy, got tired of filling the humidifiers so hooked up the big one to a 50 gal res, and filled the net pots to the top as recommended by MediMary, I think I am going to try to move the system more to the middle of the room when I change over to bloom in a week of so.

YES I know pets and bugs but I still have 2 feet of snow and they are always with me, they never gave me spider mites or my plants anything over the last 30 years. Besides they are part of my person security force and food testers.

Week 2 of Veg

Just rockin the place, the plants looked like they needed some more food, leaves were showing some loss of color and some chlorosis. (Yellow leaves and green veins are often the result of a common problem called iron chlorosis. This is the result of either an iron deficiency or iron unavailable for plant uptake.) Happens when using RO water so I upped the ppm by about 70ppm with 50ml cal-mag and 50 ml of all the rest of the stuff. I just added to the epic center and just read that's a no no. I watched and the hp dropped to 5.3 and started working it's way back up to 5.8 in about 1 hour.

Looking great Woodsmaneh, beautiful roots they look very healthy. ;)
Happy growing,
FJ

Three days ago I thought they needed something so I made the changes as above and I just looked at the pics and what a change in 3 days, likely 2 days as I was away. I thought this was going to be a science project when I started but so far it is the easiest way I have grow and the stability of the system with Canna Aqua is excellent. The help here is very valuable thanks guys.

Very nice work woodsmaneh! Those girls are blowin' up after the last update... Glad you added the extra hydroton... I'd take it a step further and use panda plastic block covers to ensure that light doesn't penetrate between the hydroton and top lip of the net pot just to be safe. Magnesium deficiency can also look similar to an Iron def... Either way, the CalMag was a good decision... :cool

Your right about about the mag looking the same as the iron, my guess could be wrong but they look ok now. I don't like treating for just one element as you could be wrong and cause other issues, that's why the cal-mag. If the nitrogen was low that would lock up the mag and give a similar look to the leaves. I sure smile a lot when I go in there and look at the plants I am already planning another 6 site or 8. Beauty day here going out with the security detail for some exercise and stick play.

I thought my plants were looking a little under fed at week 2 of veg and had a Cal-mag issue. I added 50ml of a & b Canna Aqua, 25ml Resatonic, 25lm Cannazyme and some cal- mag. They started to look a little better, than got a message form UCMENOW warning me it was running too high. Went up to 650ppm and a few hours later 510ppm but after 2 days UCMnow was right too hot that was a week ago but since then it has gone from the 510 to 320ppm today. Every day I am home I take 3 to 5 readings each day. I won't do that again with the ppm when veging. You can see the damage on the leaves but they are now 16 inches. When should I flip to flower.

Went in and pulled the plant that I took out of soil at was still struggling after 3 weeks and I did not want to take a chance on compromising the other 7 plants. So took it out and noticed the water was about 1 1/2 over the net pots so lowered it to just under and set the float so it should wind up at 2 inches below the pot is that about right?
