on saturday the 14th these plants weighed 28 oz , i watered them 12 oz each so that would mean the plants should weigh 40 oz
so today monday the 16th i weighed them again they weighed 29 oz , IS it really possible they went through 12 oz of water in 1 day ?

I don't think that's how you'd measure solids that you've added liquids to.

You need to look at your plant and see if it looks like it's overwatered or still thirsty. Lift your pots? Are they super lightweight?

What's your "really" for? Did you forget the rest of the update?

no matter what weight does not change the volume of said weight is what changes a lb of rocks is the same as a lb of water

Waters weight and volume are measured differently. You did not specify if the the 12oz you mentioned was measured by weight or volume. It's natural to assume you were adding 12oz water volume, measured in a cup to a pot you had weighed at 28oz measured on a scale.

I see you complaining about no one helping you or rather you prove people wrong and then you get ignored. You must be willing to accept the help you are asking for or admit when you are wrong. No one knows everything. We all started at the beginning with zero knowledge.

What I stated still holds true. You aren't watering correctly and your method for calculating how much water is needed is incorrect.

Holy shit. I did it. Shut my fu....yeah. So all the way up until 1lb it actually is the same weight and volume in oz for water. Mind you I just checked this on Google because I'm curious about it after having said it. But an oz of water weighs 1oz. Wow. This is true up to 16 oz. I stopped checking after that

Regardless of that, there is no way I would come to the conclusion he has.

You also know (because of your previous comments), that solids and liquids are measured differently. The same as gas vs. solids, etc. That's why liquid measuring cups are different than solids measuring cups.

Also, no plant as it grows is only going to need 16 oz of water or less. What does he do, if this is his chosen method of watering, when the plants is requiring more than 16 oz of water?
