First time growing autos, and didn't realize how quick they go to flower. Currently I only have them 1 gallon pots so hopefully it won't stress them out to much when I put them in a 10 gallon. I don't think the taller one has flowered just yet, but the shorter one definitely has. How much larger will they potentially get? The shorter one is only about 10" and the other is about 13". I've seen alot of different opinions about only transplant autos once. Does it matter or in the future should I go from it's seedling pot straight to its final pot?

I used to pot up with autos now I don’t.
When you do the plants growth slows while it lays down new roots so that’s 3 days of growth lost plus you never can tell when there going to start flowering and you don’t really want to be transplanting in flower

My 2cents worth.......seedling pot to final pot. 3 to 5 gal. plenty big enough for autos. 10gal to me is overkill. I use 3gal fabric 90% of the time. 3gal first pic autos and i LST pretty hard, 2nd pic autos nothing done to them.

Well even better, will save me on soil then. I'll just throw them in 5 gal pots.

What’s your verdict on LST as far as weight per plant vs no LST? I have a freebie auto coming today with some regulars and it’s hitting the dirt after a soak tonight…hoping to get some smoke a month or two before my regular outdoor is ready…my first go with an auto.

Good info everyone…answered a few of my rookie auto questions too.
